Historia
The manhunt has officially begun. Now the target of a game-wide Holy War, Ned is forced to flee the Onyx Sands. The odds are stacked against him; Tyrann has tens of thousands of followers, a religion that’s spreading like wildfire, and a powerful god that will be stepping into the world of EBO in a matter of days. Meanwhile, Ned’s allies are a squirrel-exploding bard, a repurposed home security system who takes her instructions far too literally, and a wildly unreliable talking axe named Frank. But even as the inevitable conflict draws closer, change is coming to EBO.

Good series that keeps getting better
Revisado: 01-19-22
This is a good story that keeps getting better, and it's well performed. I enjoyed Shadeslinger, and I agree with others that Black Sand Baron was even better. I enjoyed the character development and thought the story moved along well, which doesn't always happen in this genre.

1973 book newly recorded
Revisado: 03-26-21
Understand that this is a 1973 book recently recorded. I couldn't finish it because the "new" information was from the 60's up thru 1971. Read other reviews before deciding whether to get this book.

Historia
Since she was nine years old, Alina Dziak knew she would marry her best friend, Tomasz. Now 15 and engaged, Alina is unconcerned by reports of Nazi soldiers at the Polish border, believing her neighbors that they pose no real threat, and dreams instead of the day Tomasz returns from college in Warsaw so they can be married. But little by little, injustice by brutal injustice, the Nazi occupation takes hold, and Alina’s tiny rural village, its families, are divided by fear and hate. Then, as the fabric of their lives is slowly picked apart, Tomasz disappears.

Amazing story and narration!
Revisado: 11-01-19
I discovered this book through Audible's deal of the day, and am so glad I did! This is an incredible, personal, satisfying story that drew me in and did not let go. The book is well-written, the story flows thoughtfully, and I felt like I was there. The characters were all well developed and narrated. This stayed with me after I finished the book, which is what I want from a good book. Very satisfying! Get this, you won't be disappointed.

Historia
Monsters, aliens, ghosts, giant frogs, and a tragic angel are just some of the ingredients of this madcap adventure that is quite possibly Bruce Coville's strangest novel yet. Bruce himself appears on this recording as Gaspar Morley, head of a strange family of monsters that draw Anthony (our narrator) and his little sister Sarah into a galaxy - spanning adventure with the very souls of Earth's dead at stake.

I fully enjoyed this story... and I don't have kids!! The production is well done, very entertaining, easy to listen to, well-'acted'. I highly recommend it for people with (and without) children!

Lots of good ideas
Revisado: 11-26-03
I needed a quick 'tutorial' before answering a difficult person that I am currently negotiating with. This was great. In 2 short hours, I had a pocketful of ideas which I used (and they worked!). It was very helpful to me. If the only available versions had been the longer ones (6 hours) , I probably would not have listened to anything, and not gained this valuable information.
