Interesting topic but a boring book

There's value despite unforgivable misses

Friedman brings out some thought-provoking conclusions which gives this book value, despite some unforgivable swing-and-a-miss predictions.
Pros: I especially liked Friedman's predictions (generally) of a rise of Mexico and Turkey. Fascinating.
Cons: I'm listening to this book about 8 years after publication and it is so grossly wrong on the dismissal that China will ever amount to anything, that it seriously tarnishes the entire book. I ask myself, How could he have been SO WRONG? He gives his reason why and essentially never talks about China again for his entire 100 year-long prediction.
Also, one may say it's premature to declare his estimates of space warfare wrong, but I'm doing it anyway. As a member of the US Space Force, I can recognize that he gets wrong the some foundational aspects of space operations that derails his other predictions, such as: life support systems are an enormous percentage of the cost of aircraft, let alone space systems. There is essentially no good reason to send humans onto a geosynchronous orbit space station. Additionally, the big trend in military operations, especially for space it to create constellations of many small satellites, as opposed to big juicy targets. Change these two simple variables and his equation for future space events would simply not happen.
There's good, but this book is expiring with age quickly.

Amazing prophecies were given to the Hopi Indians as well as the Mahayan of China, the Tibetans, Kikuyu of Africa, the Mayans, Aztecs and Incas of South America, and great number of North American Indian tribes. Many of these prophecies came from a "Great White Brother" who visited most of these peoples, taught them of peace, and prophesied what would occur to them until he returned in the "last days" to help build a society of complete peace in this land.
