Do not purchase this if you're looking for actual information about how TOPGUN was formed and how fighter pilots actually engage in air combat maneuvering.
The flow is a circular fluff piece that pads the content to make up for the lack of actual factual data.
Despite being read by the author, the narration is slow and disjointed, almost like each subsequent word is a surprise.
In over 5 years of Audible membership, this is the first title needing to be played at 1.5 to 1.7 speed to feel like a normal pace.

Historia
From the earliest recorded history of the Russian state, its people have sought to define their place in the world. And while many of us look to make sense of Russia through its political history, in many ways a real grasp of this awe-inspiring country comes from looking closely at its cultural achievements. The 24 lectures of Understanding Russia: A Cultural History survey hundreds of years of Russian culture, from the world of Ivan the Terrible to the dawn of the Soviet Union to the post-war tensions of Putin’s Russia.

Russian Puff Piece, don't expect much beyond that.

Long on gushing praise and borderline fan girling from Lynn Ann Hartnett, but short on actual factual analysis.

Historia
James Dommek, Jr., an Alaska Native writer and musician, sheds new light on a real-life mystery that pits Native American folklore against the US justice system. In the vast Alaskan Arctic, legend has it there once lived a mythic tribe—Iñukuns—that only existed in rumors and whispers. This changed forever when an actor-turned-fugitive, Teddy Kyle Smith, had an encounter that brought Iñukuns from myth to reality. Smith was an aspiring actor with a promising career until it all came quickly crashing down with a gunshot, a manhunt, bloodshed, and other frightful events.

An audio version of a grade school level report.
Revisado: 11-05-19
Poorly focused on the actual details of the violent acts central to the criminal case.
Attemps to present alcoholism, tribal mysticism or "Hollywood" fueled excess as root causes. None of these are explored in any useful, logical detail.
There's even a half hearted mention of legal system inequalities for rural Alaskan residents.
Thankfully this is an Audible Originals freebie, and only costs you time.

Historia
It’s a war filled with larger than life characters. There will be sledging, accusations of cheating, theft and performance enhancing drugs. And allegations that Australia was cheated out of a Guinness World Record. In the process of charting the scandal-plagued race to breed the world’s hottest chilli, the audio documentary lifts the lid on the subculture of ‘Chilli-heads’, hardcore chilli fans spread across the globe who compete in chilli eating and breeding competitions.

Too much people, not enough peppers.
Revisado: 08-16-19
This feels like a weak high school research paper, or an amateur YouTube video. Way too much time is spent on the personal dramatics and glorification of being a victim, than on chilies. To even call this a human interest piece is being generous.
There is maybe 30 minutes of useful information about chili peppers that could have been gleaned from a concise Wikipedia entry in a much more efficient manner.
Even as a free download, I'd skip it for anything useful on chilies.
