Historia
November 1911. Lady Emily Hardcastle is celebrating her birthday by seeing a play at the Duke’s Theatre in Bristol with her maid and confidante, the inimitable Flo. Act One is a triumph. Then Act Two opens with a body on stage—a real one. One of the cast has been brutally murdered during the interval. When other matters get in the way of Inspector Sunderland overseeing the case himself, he asks the ever-resourceful Lady H to keep a watchful eye on the suspects—and his police colleagues.

I have enjoyed all of TE Kinsey's books that I have listened to so far. So glad I found this author, and plan to get the rest of her books.

Love the story and narration. The narrator makes the story so interesting with all the characters identifiable by her voice, as well as identified in the storyline.🌞

Historia
Popular author Katherine Valentine pens the highly anticipated fourth novel in her beloved Dorsetville series. On a Wing and a Prayer is an enchanting portrait of life in a quaint New England town "where miracles are never far away". The 12-year-old Gallagher twins fall through the ice on Fenns Pond and need a miracle of their own. Father James, the parishioners of St. Cecilia’s, Doc Hammond, and all the regulars at the Country Kettle Café struggle to keep their faith as God’s will is eventually revealed.

I enjoyed the story line very much, small town life is always interesting to me. The narrator, John McDonough, did a very good job, I will look for more books narrated by him.
