I mean horror where this is nothing but a big fluff horror. horror book I'm sorry It's just really not worth the money you can buy it and read it. I mean it was enjoyable read for the most part but don't expect any action or horror or anything.

Definitely a YA book if not a middle school book.

I would recommend if your a 6th grader to read the book. Other wise don't . The girl is 19 who acts like she is 6. This book is suppose to be like Harry Potter it is in all the bad ways. I chave tried to read this book 5 times and just can't finish it. It is not written to adult standards. The plot is to simple and transparent.

So disappointing after the 1st book. The 2nd book has way to much inner monologuing is just ridiculous. The books are turning into I hate men, women do better just not a good place to be. I love strong female characters they make books so interesting but when you sacrifice good content it just doesn't make any sense.

Ok I get it I loved the Relentless series. But so far just no.
The main female charter is fine, and I enjoyed her for the most part. Except for thee end of the book. Wait there was no end to this book.
No closure of any kind what so ever. The story plots where all off as well which we will get into later. And the main male charter is so bad I don't see how you can save him. There should be no redemption arch for him. If there is that would make your female protagonist supper weak and pathetic. Through out the hole book you see how good she is. But he finds it so easy to believe she this bad person, who would torcher a person to death Really! Especially when you see how much she loves her brother? And saves a guy she doesn't even like all that much but risks her own life to do so. Ya that make sense, NOT! Most of the book has plot holes all over the place.

1- She has a ability to sing a Fae to almost a coma state but stops using it pretty much after the first Fae she catches.

2- she leave Brooklyn for the fist time in her life and she this master mind of this big plot to kill someone she wouldn't even know.

3- she has a Fae Goddess stone in her hair and has a big Fae library to look the stone up and doesn't.

4- And lets not forget her parent's where in the cage next to her to prove her innocence but doesn't ya that makes senses.

I could go on and on but I think you will get the point. Lets also remember she's only 18 years old just out of High school. So as far as a romance goes we don't even know how old the main protagonist is.

And going somewhere that would put them selves into danger. Right after the school was just attacked. Just for story plot conveyance not good.

Don't bother skip to book 2 maybe ?

you will spend the hole book waiting for something to happen. But it never does the book ends with nothing different. There's not any character growth I feel like the character is ever weaker than when the book started.

the character is a hunter of demons gets taken to hell ,falls for her soul mate maybe or nor. gets rescued and returns back home the end oh and gets beaten up some

wrong direction!

I understand that bk 2 generally is slower but no no action. 2 many tropes so sad. The story became to predictable. Not enough story the main character became shallow .
I won't continue with this line. just over 4 hours it seems like a way just to make money. I would go into greater detail but I wouldn't want to ruin the few good parts.
