Listened to the whole thing unfortunately…

The writing on this is not geared towards adults, maybe young teens. It is just bad, in my opinion. I saw another reviewer who described the main character as a preachy, nonviolent vegan. It is very apt. It is a cool idea, but it has poor execution. Also, the author gets into way too much detail in some items that don't really need explanation and then glosses over important items.

Would not recommend this book or author.

I have enjoyed Nicholas Sansbury Smith’s book in the past but I couldn’t wait for this one to be over. Way to much irrelevant detail and commentary that didn’t add to the story. Instead of the letting the reader make inferences, they go way overboard.
Also certain voices were hard to understand.
