Quick, fast paced, but could use some depth.

I received a free review copy of this audio book, at my request, and am voluntarily leaving this unbiased review.
This book was fairly short and quite fast paced, and ultimately entertaining. however the story falls a bit short and lacks the depth you get from a longer novel. more character development, more world building.
Ultimately though this has good action and a story that keeps you going. R.C. Bray gives another fantastic performance, and this book is very much in his style (similar cues to Expeditionary Force and Hell Divers). Bray definately adds to and carries the story at times.

This one just wasn't for me. Couldn't stand the writing style. Felt like the author was dipping into the thesaurus far too much and just ruined the flow of the writing for me, and makes it sound almost pompous. Your mileage may vary, it's really just not my style. but because of that, I couldn't make it very far into this one before giving up.
