I love Cynthia Woolf!

I always enjoy a Cynthia Woolf book and Gideon is one of my favorites. All the books in the Surprise Brides series are good, quick reads and I recommend each one. Gideon is the only one in audio book format though.

Lia Frederick does a great job narrating and brings the characters to life. You know each character by how she changes her voice and when Ruby is thinking, you can hear the difference from her talking voice.

Pleasantly surprised!

I love Jodi Thomas, but the books I wanted in Audible are not in audio book format. So, I thought I would give A Place Called Harmony a try and I'm happy I did.

The couples who you want to be happy find their happily ever after in Harmony. I found all the couples to be very real and honest. I wanted them to find love and family and thanks to the tremendous writing of Jodi Thomas and the narration of Julia Gibson they did!

I love Debra Holland's writing! 10🌟 and 10 💗!

Debra Holland writes about people who fall in love with each other in a gentle and calm pace. There isn't the jumping in bed or falling in lust, it is the slow, growing love mixed with longing that makes her characters feel real.

After reading her books, you feel like you're there with them, you yearn for them to be happy, and feel like you have witnessed their story in person. Her books are clean yet real.

Lara did an amazing job narrating the story and made each character stand out. She was fabulous and it would take a fabulous narrator to do justice to Debra's books.

Good short story

I generally always like Stacy Reid's lounger stories and thought I would give this short one a try.

It was overall good, but with shorter stories, it was rushed. While I like my books to be over 200 pages, this one, even though it was under the 200 page mark was actually pretty good. While I do believe it would have been better if it were longer, the story flowed and the rushed feeling I receive when reading short stories wasn't as much as it had been with other shorter books.

I would recommend this book for a quick read that introduces you to the Duke's family. The other stories are longer, more evenly paced, and are a solid 5🌟. Since I felt this was a little rushed, it earned 4🌟.

Another great one from Hannah Howell

Hannah Howell's books always have a strong man, a strong woman, and a love that was meant to last forever.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a great Scottish love story.

Love Hannah's Scottish books

Hannah Howell's historical romance novels that take place in Scotland are always full of family, love, passion, and generally a manly man of a hero. The heroines are strong and brave and the know what they want in a husband. They always bring their man to heel and I love it. Gilly and Connor are one of my favorite couples and I have read their story multiple times. I highly recommend this book!

Amazing book

I loved this book. It had heart, love, gentleness, patience, and acceptance. I enjoy a clean read with a Christian background and this book fits. This family loves each other, accepts each other, and allows God to work the miracles in their lives that bring them their other half.

Laural did an amazing job narrating the story that Lacy did an amazing job writing. I will still read it when it is released to Kindle simply because I found the love Davy and Rose felt for one another needs to be experienced again.

I felt for Rose when she doubted herself because of how her first husband treated her and how she fought to not love Davy. I felt for Davy when he was fighting his feelings of abandonedment and his fight to not love Rose. These two are perfect for each other and their love only grows when they become three. My heart and soul experienced joy and elation when they finally stopped fighting and accepted that God gave them to who they were meant to be with. 5♥️ and 5🌟!

Rafe is so swoon worthy

I would love to meet a Lord Rafe Easton someday. He is a man with a dark and not so happy past who happens to fall in love with women who was created through sin.

They are the perfect pair; both with a past and both not really believing that they deserve a happy future. After he purchases her as his mistress, he realizes that she is innocent in more ways than one and that innocence is what allows him to fall for her and allows her to heal him. She sees the strength and honor of a man that most only fear or look down on. Her ability to see the good allows her save him from certain death and allows him to realize his love for her.

This is one of my favorite books and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a tortured hero, a sweet heroine, passion, love, and ultimately a family being reunited. A 10🌟 read.

Lovely, clean read

I love Debra Holland's writing. Her books are so compelling and filled with love. They show how two people can overcome insurmountable obstacles to find love. They are clean with no cursing or sex, but you can feel the love radiating from the page. Laura Asmundson did an amazing job narrating Seth and Trudy's story. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a love story not a sex story.
