Loved this book to pieces. I only have one small complaint—as an ADHD reader, I tend to do immersive readings, meaning I listen to the audiobook while reading the text (either the physical book or the electronic version). I bought my physical copy of this book just last week here in Florida. I noticed that the audio version has different adjectives and nouns for certain words; makes sense since the author is from the UK and in the audio version I heard what I am assuming was the original ‘UK’ version. Those little changes did distract me a bit but the plot wasn’t lost on me. However, there was a difference in one particular word. It was specifically a number, on the page of 365. It stayed with me, and I thought it was going to change the plot. It didn’t but, it did bother me, like a fly trying to land on my apple, lol. I enjoyed it but would’ve rather not have to worry about those word and sentence changes. Big fan and looking forward to more of Gareth Brown’s books!
