besides the invaluable lessons, the stories used to illustrate the main points were really good. touching on historical milestones was a sweet touch. and the reading was great. articulate and inflection were captivating. planning on a second and third time eventually.

Did a great job making this topic practical for me

Being a person who has struggled with boindries, this book did a great job introducing the concepts and giving practical application examples and exercises along the way. I'm now also looking forward to reading other books referenced in this one on the same topic for reinforcing good boundary setting practices.

Engaging, Empowering and Informative.

Wasn't sure what to expect per say. it did have a lot of the story that one would expect as related to her white house stay. But even bigger than that was the story of her beginnings and the tenacity and adapatablilty she demonstrated. Same for her vulnerability. Certainly happy I chose this book.

Having read some of the stories in this book already, I appreciate how they we tied together to illustrate the purpose of the writing; a better, more resilient and more peaceful you. Was surely inspiring and lit a fire in me (again) to be my best self.

I think most readers have done interest in self growth. And almost all think there room for improvement at work. Whether you're a leader or contributor, this gives what I think is the best course on how to do so in a sustainable way. Highly recommended for personal, peer or organizational improvement and lasting growth culture.

Amazing, Inspiring Biographies of Brilliant men. The narrator's voice kept dipping in and out as if his head was turning to and from the mic. Even so, I highly recommend this book. Really makes one marvel at the depth of the people the stories are about. As well, shows the common and uncommon threads that we can use to propel ourselves in our own arenas.

Great life lesson inside

Though I already have my own life philosophies and would tweak some of what was said or how it was said, I fundamentally agree with enough of this to recommend it to every person on this planet. It would make a great deal of difference if the lessons taught here would be applied by all readers/listeners. Go for it, it's worth every word.
