Better than I hoped.

Honestly I have always hated books where MC hides his strength.. I mean you have the power so why hide it?! But this one was very well done. The MC comes off as more like 27 year old Clint Eastwood with his older jaded self. He isn’t afraid of what most would be because of what he has been through. I am looking forward to next book in series.

I’m usually not a fan of barbarian type MC’s since they tend to be more brawn than brains but I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised and glad I gave this one a chance. The MC is very much a warrior but isn’t an idiot, he is just out of his comfort zone but he is quick to learn. The ladies have their own unique stories and attitudes and aren’t there just to sleep with Mc.

Only a couple well done adult fun times and the rest are ftb type which is good since some books tend to overdo it. Narration is on point voices are all different and well done.

Looking forward to the next book.

Good as the others although this seemed more of building for the next book. Also seemed a bit short. Still gonna be bored waiting for the next one. Can’t wait to see where he goes next with the series.

I listened to it without stopping and only wish it was longer. Love me some reincarnation books. Travis Baldree did a great job on this, the voices were good and just sucked you in. Already hate waiting for next book and I just finished this one. Keep it up!

If your into a MC who is overpowered and doesn’t put up with bullies/thugs, be they noble or street gangster, then this one is for you.

The narrator did a great job and I enjoyed the story. Only issue I had was the kinda cliff hanger ending. Won’t get into that but now having to wait for the next book is going to suck.

If I had to compare it I would say it was similar to “Legend if the Arch Magus” but without the rebirth into another body thing.

Sooo freakin good...

I loved this book. I listened and re-listened to the first book so many times I was both looking forward to and worried about the new book. The next one could have gone as so many have before where they stretch it out or add some narrative that just ruins it but I can honestly say the author surpassed the first book. Loved it and the only worry I have is how long I have to wait for the next one..... seriously if you enjoyed the first one don’t hesitate you will love this one.

Anyways please buy it, I want this author to make lots more and as soon as possible!!

Another dumb MC..

I got through half of this book before I gave up. The MC is sooo confident in himself for no reason at all. He gets beat up and ignores the advice of others with more knowledge. He risks others lives because once again he doesn’t think. Gets his companion turned slave because he didn’t listen to her. Gets offended at being told off even though he admits he deserves it and half an hour later he is screwing up again and offended others are angry at his stupidity.

If you want another book with a pathetic MC then this is the book for you. If not, avoid this one.

Worst MC ever..

I’m sorry but this mc was painful to listen to.. constantly whining, crying, and just plain pathetic.. he has a few moments where he steps up but for every 1 minute of him stepping up you have to put up with several hours of whining and just anxiety causing insecurities.

I wanted to give this a chance despite the other reviews.. but they were right. Too much whining.

About time..

Great book. I don’t like writing reviews but I just had to after listening to this one. Loved it from beginning to end. Performance was good, story was good... even length was good.

Highly recommend this book if you like the entire time travel idea. Or heck if you just want a good book to occupy your time.

YA super hero story at its worst.

Okay too many good reviews to be real reviews maybe.. Or everyone enjoys the torturous stupidity of the "hero"..

I really wanted to like this book but the main character just got annoying how ignorant he was of his situation... I mean he is a quarterback and apparently good looking by all accounts, gets told so by the "hottest" girl in school and yet he still is clueless that he is in fact popular...

Don't get me started on the whole "I love my best friend but I'm an idiot so I'm going to keep being a sucker for this cheer leader who as much as tells me I'm only status booster for her and that's all"

The thing that bothered me the most was the fact that he acts like his best friend is so important to him but doesn't just go ahead and tell her about who he is and what he is.. Not even when her life is in danger..

He is sooo selfish he rather keep his secret from the person supposedly he trusts the most rather than trust in her and tell her what's up. Most of the issues could have been curtailed and the stupid cliffhanger "oh my god she is going to date the guy that kidnapped her and wants me dead" wouldn't have pissed me off so much...

End rant... This book annoyed me instead of entertained me.. I won't be getting next book in series. I will be staying away from YA books for a while to cleanse my pallet...
