Be careful though. This is not the full book which I didn’t know until the end. If you are buying to gift to a non- believer, make sure you are buying the full text.

Historia
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

Heartbreaking and Enlightening
Revisado: 10-14-20
Heartbreaking, yes. But also full of hope and confidence that Candaces voice will be joined by many other conservative black voices to ultimately change the narrative that black Americans are victims rather than the powerful, intelligent community they really are. Hearing Candace’s story and how she has been ridiculed and ostracized for her conservative views, I am so impressed by this bold powerhouse of a woman who bravely speaks against injustice and fights for her community. Bravo Candace!! I hope your book reaches the eyes and ears of all those that believe they are fighting for minorities but actually are causing the unintended consequence of their oppression.
