I’m going to miss the series, but I’m glad it got an ending that I enjoyed very much!

Pretty good installment, felt like they took more time with some of the scenes, wasn’t so much a whirlwind, but awesome either way, no complaints, keep em coming #20s

I wasn't expecting a book like his from John Scalzi. I've become accustomed to his action packed sci fi, but this book keeps you entertained the entire time even without empires collapsing and aliens invading with the goal of making meals out of us all. It's very thoughtful on what makes us human and what links we may be surprised to find we have with our interstellar neighbors.

Wil Wheaton is also at his finest. He's quickly become my favorite audible performer. I can't be sure whether or not I'm biased due to my love of Star Trek TNG, but his talent in this arena is superb. Very entertaining

This book follows the events of the Amber Wars. It focuses on a group of recruits in the armor corps of which a strong dynamic between characters and good humor ensues. There is some action in the book, but there aren't huge epic battles that you become accustomed to from the Amber Wars books. Though there wasn't a hugely entertaining hook for me in this book, it's a good book and an effective setup for a new saga that I expect will be as epic as the Amber Wars books.

Mr. Gaiman's delivery is fantastic, I'm very pleased he decided to narrate himself. The stories within the book make it clear that the ancient Norse highly prized cleverness and good humor. It also shows how much they loved listening to great tales. Mr. Gaiman's book carries on a great tradition as it exposes its readers to the richness and excitement within the Norse pantheon.

Your lovable, ancient, artificial intelligence also known as Skippy is once again frequently flabbergasted by Joe's wiley ideas and dumb luck. I stepped away from this series for a time because the stories were feeling formulaic. However, my curiosity got the better of me because it's still an amazing saga and I want to see where it goes. I am very pleased to have finally purchased this book because the heart is back in it. Any notion that this book would feel the same as the last few quickly vanished. The twists and turns in Uhtred's fortune continue to make me feel everything from dismay, to anger, and then on to deep joy. Congratulations Mr. Cornwell, you have breathed a new life into this amazing work.

I was worried that Taylor wasn't going to capture the magic that he did with the first book in this series. He absolutely did. I couldn't pause the book, I had to sit through it all in one go. Everything you like about the first book continues as the plot thickens and we see what other threats the galaxy has to offer.

Excellent performance as well. Porter brings all the Bobs' personalities to life.

In the final installation of this great series Richard Fox doesn't leave you begging for more. That's in a good way! I am already anxiously anticipating more of his work in the future. The ending leaves the reader satisfied by stories end. However, throughout this book you're anything but calm while being constantly bombarded by action that immerses the reader in which you find yourself thumping your chest and standing among a phalanx with the iron hearts.

Luke Daniels performs wonderfully as always. He carefully brings each character to life.

I love the dynamic between Joe Bishop, the grunt who continually finds trouble and the self absorbed ancient alien AI, Skippy. If you like a good comedy relief in your action/adventure, this book is right up your alley. The twists and turns are unpredictable and keep you at the edge of your seat wondering how they're going to get out of the latest mess they've found themselves in.

The performance is spot on. I hope the series continues on for many more books. If you like Dennis Taylor's Bobiverse series, you'll love this one.
