Wow ..... Starts out great. Turns soooo dark for the middle(2/3rds) of the book. Then ends.....dark too. If you can handle unimaginable sorrow, but an in-depth story, this morning I'll be a good listen for you.

After listening to thousands of hours of books, I have become more aware of how men and women are very different people. Their brains see a situation very differently. And this is another example of how I find it difficult to enjoy some female authors. Too romantic. Too emotional. Too distracted. BUT, that's me.

She says her 1st priority is her daughter. But she volunteers for every dangerous mission. She says she is unforgettable with everyone in the house, but 3 minutes later she likes it. She says she never wants to kill anyone ever again, but then wants to kill them all. She puts the people who care for her in constant jeopardy with her rash decisions.
I couldn't even finish the last 7 hours.

The deadliest assassin's ever have the most clueless sidekicks??? You could probably do away with one of these books if you removed all the stupid comments made by them. I'd think this was for young adults if it wasn't so violent. oh well, I couldn't have written better so....

Most the negative reviews already here are spot on. Waaay too much explanation of things that aren't needed. 10 minutes explaining how to get water from New Mexico? it's like the 'story' is secondary to breaking down the process of....EVERYTHING. It took til' 2/3 the way through the 2nd book to hear a consistant story. AND, the narrator is one click away from being a robot. Very little voice fluctuation and not enough of a break between scene changes.
So, if you're Spock, this book collection is for you.
