This book isn't for everyone. It takes a special listener to fully appreciate Drakes work. His descriptions of the many battles which his "Ranks of Bronze" under-go almost perfectly describes the military vibe that only those who have an appreciation for the finer points of war can thuroughly graps... you feel as though your mixed up in the sweat and blood of the battlefield as the rank and file moves it's ugly head onward to battle. This is a work of genius that your average twilight reader can fully grasp it's brilliant significance.


Truly a must read :)

Why does it hurt so good! ?

One moment I'm reveling in his triumphs and the next moment I'm cursing his trials. This has some of the saddest moments in the series...and yet, I can't help but wanting to continue.
This book is a must read for any romantic among you with a sense of justice and adventure. Enjoy. And try not to cry like a girl.

I thought both readers of the 1st and 2nd book in this series did very well. I however wish that only one reader would do the entire series. They pronounce things differently and it gets annoying

What did you love best about Inferno?

Soooo.... I stayed awake for 2 days straight because of this series.... please be careful when starting this one... IT GRABS YOU! As with all of his other books, D. Russ provides a captivating environment for the Inner nerd inside all of us to become the lord of a new world. His entrancing Alterworld Series never ceases to keep you on the edge of your seat. The character is always growing and conquering. New finds, such as armor, weapons and phenomenons are a constant occurance. LOVE IT!!!!!

Both the reader and author did a phenomenal job. Not once was I trapped with a boring part in the story hoping the plot would move along...each moment held a new and exciting surprise. Well done!

EXCELLENT DOESN'T BEGIN TO COVER IT

The author is a master creating brilliance. Every paragraph had me thinking, wishing, almost crying. This guy knows how to write a story. The reader did an amazing job of conveying emotion and making this book pure ear candy.
All I can say is, Thank you.

The story was excellently performed. However as the reader is unfamiliar with military acronyms it's not surprising that he spells them out instead of saying the like the military community would.

A well written book?? I think so!

This book is extremely well written and performed.
The author puts genuine thought and care into the story he delivers to us. If action is your thing and a good revolving plot line with constant excitement...then this is the book for you.
Each character portrays excellently against Ringos' series. This book is a must read!!!
