it has plots that don't make sense
generals that get promoted to admirals?
a peaceful alien race that almost kills everyone on purpose?
and an uncomfortable ammout of lewd acts and kids.
wouldn't recommend
also Wil Wheaton sucks

I don't know how many people are involved in making this book but not a single one has any idea what they are talking about. from squirrels to politics to military capabilities this book makes it all up with no real base in facts.
the audio performance isn't much better, mispronouncing English words while it almost sounds like they are editing in professionally spoken Chinese names like a bad censored movie on TV
if you want a navy book written by a navy officer who knows what they are talking about, check out "thunder below" and skip this one

it seems like this is half trashy romance, half scifi and a crazy lonely cat lady all wraped into one.
glad this was a freebie
p.s. using fancy science words with no idea what they actually are or just saying it magicly happens because science makes for bad scifi.
