Historia
CEO Michelle Hastings has foolishly promoted a kind, clueless activist to her full-time staff. Now, on top of fighting her inconvenient feelings, Michelle must hide the evil they do. Eden Lawless relishes her new job, the hot boss who gives her butterflies, and her eccentric workmates who tell weird jokes about their day. Blackmail? Hacking? Doxing? Hilarious! I didn’t want it to end. Both The Fixers and Chaos Agent were great books that kept me interested the entire time. Definitely worth the read.

Historia
Pop star Leontyne Blake might sing about love, but she stopped believing in it a long time ago. What women want is her image, not the real her. When her father has a stroke, she flees the spotlight and returns to her tiny Missouri hometown. In her childhood home, she meets small-town nurse Holly Drummond, who isn't impressed by Leo's fame at all. That isn't the only thing that makes Holly different from other women. She's also asexual. For her, dating is a minefield of expectations that she has decided to avoid.

Great read
Revisado: 10-26-23
I loved this book. I’m definitely going to read it again at some point. I liked learning about asexuality because I feel like it’s a part of the community that’s over looked. This is overall a great book. The narrator was great as well.

Good read
Revisado: 10-23-23
I saw a review that complained about there being too much tennis (in the this book about tennis) and not enough romance, but I disagree. I think it was balanced. I actually like that the romance didn’t take away from the tennis because it was very interesting. It’s nice to read a romance book, that isn’t a bunch of forced romance. It seemed like real life and not some unrealistically sappy story. If you’re more into those, you may not like this, but I say give it a try anyway.

Historia
Gracie Reed is doing just fine. Sure, she was fired by her overly “friendly” boss, and yes, she still hasn’t gotten her mother into the nursing home of their dreams, but she’s healthy, she’s (somewhat) happy, and she’s (mostly) holding it all together. But when a mysterious SUV pulls up beside her, revealing Chinese cinema's golden couple Wei Fangli and Sam Yao, Gracie’s world is turned on its head. The famous actress has a proposition: Due to their uncanny resemblance, Fangli wants Gracie to be her stand-in.

ANNOYING MAIN CHARACTER
Revisado: 08-16-23
The story isn’t bad. The narration is okay, but my goodness this main character isn’t even likable. She’s annoying. Her decision making skills are horrible. Her constant need to be the victim (even when she’s in the wrong) gets old fast. I really really tried to give her the benefit of doubt (because she is human and none of us are perfect, she’s also not a bad person), but she is the most eye roll inducing character ever. She’s too old to be such a dummy. Get it together, girl! I have a little over an hour left in the book, but I had to get this out.

One of My Favorite Reads
Revisado: 06-27-23
I always come back to this audio book. I read the ebook first and I loved it. One of my favorite things is Felicity’s “Longest. Winning Streak. Ever.” That part gets me every time. It get’s me in The Awkward Truth as well. This is a great book and the narration is amazing. It’s a must read and I’m sure I’ll be listening again at some point.

This book only needed one narrator.
Revisado: 06-06-23
The story itself is not bad. You get what you expect. A predictable fake love to real love story. I’m fine with that. I’m actually writing this before I’ve finished because it’s so annoying. The narrator for Emily is fine as long as you speed her up, but the narrator for Ruby is just plain bad. Putting her at the default speed helps, but it’s still only tolerable. And constantly having to switch speeds is annoying. This book only needed one narrator.

Boring
Revisado: 06-03-23
I couldn’t really get into this. I tried to listen all the way through, but it was pretty much just background noise while I was at work. Also, and yes this is petty, the Jaden Smith diss just brought it all the way home for me. I stopped listening immediately. Ew. Don’t do that. I’m sure this story will be good for a different audience. Abbey Craden always gets five starts from me though.

Great Read
Revisado: 05-07-23
All I have to say is, don’t let homophobia be the reason you miss out on a good read. It’s a great book and there is more to come in the other two books. Give it a chance. It’s worth it. Seeing people give negative reviews just because of a romantic relationship between two boys just makes me roll my eyes. This trilogy is way too good to pass up for something like that.

A Must Read
Revisado: 05-03-23
This story was so awesome! And I don’t necessarily mean the story itself, but just how it was written. To call this story awesome would make me feel kind of bad because it was actually sad. I kept questioning whether it was real or not because of how well it was performed. I really enjoyed it though. I don’t usually get teary eyed from books, but this one got me. My goodness! It’s definitely a must read. It’s put together so well and it immediately pulls you in. All the interviewees are interesting and it’s really cool to see how all the stories connect.
