Concept is great, female character not so much

I like confident women in these stories and situations. Kate, the main female is successful, stands strong for what she wants, a separation from her fathers dictative personality, turns into a whiny little girl most often than not.

This could have easily been a five because the overall story was great, but I just couldnt get past the whinning and indecisveness.

Cliff hanger and so much more.

Listening to the narrator immitate a male biker is painful. I couldn't relate to Noose's character, and with the female history, I cant understand her jumping right in to a sexual relationship with a biker. Could be a much fulfilling story with more character building on his feelings with the female character, and.....the cliffhanger???? Well, if the first book was fulfilling I'd be keen on purchasing the following books. In this case, I'll save my money and time. Not attached to the story and easy to walk away from this one.

Aggravating

Well, this book is more of a Prince charming and an annoying madame in distress. I wanted to smack some sense into her. Needed some more drama/action, but I finished it. Yep, a pat on my back. Three stars earned because there was just enough to keep me coming back. However, I was expecting more, and more never happened. :(

Be prepared, this author is cliff hanger happy.... Secong book in the series and am hooked agiain.... I need to be an author, hanging readers... Super love the alpha male.. makes me wanna.....

POV

Im more of a POV type of listener but Gina makes it wotks very well for her story. I love the connection between the best friends, one conservative, the other a bit wild driving the realtionship and story. overall, I cant beg for my lost time on this book but, Ive been ruined by the major alpha males in Meghan March stories. I will definitely read this series.

I suppose it's hard to eat hamburger when you've had filet mignon (Meghan March). Not much of a story and the intimate moments were mediocre. Hell I dont recall that Delila had an O her first encounter with Oliver.

If you're new to this genre you will probably enjoy it better, but if you truly want an alpha male with snarky strong women that actually carries on a conversation with enthusiasm, sarcasm, emotion and just right down dirty hot thoughts, read Meghan March. She has ruined me....

As I've stated on the previous books in the series, this author and narrators are amazing. This is an amazing story and I cant wait for more in the series!!!

I am very much impressed with this author and her ability to have an "edge of your seat" story along with some pretty hot moments, along while portraying and convincingly the stong emotions the alpha male feels for the woman.

This has been an amazing series and I'm very much looking forward to book three.

Excellent, Steamy!!!

An Amazing story with great characters. It was pleasant to finally have characters that weren't so wishy washy, but their personalities consistent throughout the story. And the narrators were amazing!!! I loved their tone and very much appreciated the lack in over complicated voice alterations to repesent the different characters.

One thing that I hate about MC stories, the fake alpha male telling the naive innocent outsider all about club life in a tone like a dictionary. blah, blah, blah... This story doesn't do that. The club life is revealed slowly throughout the story and by experiences and interactions the innocent has with other characters.

One thing I would have enjoyed is more drama between the insecure feelings Ash had for Angel. Plus, maybe a bit more interaction with the other club.

Overall, this story has it all put together in a great MC novel that will turn you on, and keep you glued to the end with only wanting more. Off to read the second book in the series, or shall I say listen to.
