The book is an interesting premise, although i swear ive read this premise before... I was listening last night when i realized i couldnt remember even one characters name, and didnt care about one of them... I dont get it, and wont be finishing this book...

This is bad fan fiction… it’s like the book wasn’t edited, the author describes things several times at different times… also the readout of the game interface over and over and over got so damn old… then just end the story right in the middle of a scene… no, I won’t be buying the next books

Good story, but in weird order

This book seems to be written like the movie pulp fiction, it seems like the Major would tell a story about one thing, then move to a time before that, before finishing the story at a later time... also there was one bad edit, where words were repeated... I was really looking for more of a how to book than a this is what I’ve done book, however I would still buy it again...

This book started as a infomercial for a website and youtube channel, then went down hill from there... I swear the author used the word fear 5 million times in the first 5 minutes, I know thats not actually possible but it sure seemed like it... Thank God for returns....

I LOVED Jon's books Quitter and Start!! I came into this book with high hopes!! Blah.... Spoiler alert, Jon lost his "dream job" working for Dave Ramsey, and to get back on his feet he was able to fall back on his group of friends that he has nurtured for the last 10 years..... Soooo, if you are getting this book because life has pooped on you and you looking for insight on how to start again... The first thing you need to do is go back in time and nurture a large group of friends, because you are gonna need them....
Sorry Jon, I will be buying your next book, but I will be returning this one....

In all fairness this book will probably save me a lot of money... I was going to sign up for Gary Ryan Blair's course on goal setting. I got his FREE pdf, it was full of pretty pictures but nothing great. I purchased this book with high hopes... Meh.... The reader, I could have sworn, many times sounds like a robot. NO inflection and weird clippy diction... This "book" seems to be bullet points, for a speech... lots of trite sentences with no real meat. One of the 10 action points is " Fail to prepare and you prepare to fail".... really??? How is that helpful??
So I thank GRB for putting this "book" out to show me that I need not waist my time, and money. There are SO many other REALLY GREAT goal setting books. And thanks to Audible for letting me get this sorry excuse for a book off my phone...

I know that life, like these 4 short stories doesn't always have closure. However I felt while listening that these stories were just book ideas that were never fully germinated... I don't know if they were fully germinated that I wouldn't feel so slimy after listening.... Jessica Hecht, who narrates 2 of the 4 stories needs to stop with the weird distracting voices and accents....
