I found an envelope in the mail. No return address. My name on the front, my address. Inside was a check, made out to me, in the amount of 10 thousand dollars. Enough to pay the bills and leave me some left over to live on until I found a job. Enough to let me focus on classes. There was no name on the check, just "VRI Inc.", and a post office box address for somewhere in the city. No hint of identity or reason for the check or anything. No mention of repayment, interest, nothing...except a single word, on the notes line: "You." Just those three letters.

What did you like best about this story?
I really enjoyed the mystery of the story. The intrigue and the extravagance of Who her benefactor is.
Which character – as performed by Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne – was your favorite?
Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne are my favorite narrators! Summer is wonderful!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The best moment for me was when Kyrie has dinner for the first time with her mysterious benefactor. The scene is laid out perfectly being described beyond eloquently.
Any additional comments?
This is one of Jasinda's best novels.

Where does Resisting Roots rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is one of the best books I've heard. The story is very gut wrenching and real with the struggles of life, and even a few misunderstandings.
What did you like best about this story?
I enjoyed how well Viv and Trent connected. I also rather enjoyed the explanations of the yoga poses and how they can help the body.
Which character – as performed by Holly Chandler and Jacob Morgan – was your favorite?
I enjoyed Trent's narration by Jacob Morgan. He is one of the better male narrators.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I Laughed several times and even cried a few times too. Super emotional! Love it!
Any additional comments?
I only wish this was a longer book, I want to know more of the future for Viv and Trent!

What did you like best about this story?
I loved the progression of the story and how well the internal conflict was written. The romance blossomed passionately and beautifully! Steamy encounters only hotter and more intense in Book 2!!!
What about Summer Roberts’s performance did you like?
Summer is quickly becoming my most favorite narrator to hear. The emotion and empathy are so strong. She brings the book, story and characters to life.

Yes! Yes and Yes!!! I both laughed and cried!

I can't wait until Book 3 is released. Can we say Cliffhanger?!?!

What a fantastic love story! Showing that love and romance are not always bright and cheery. Love has to be worked at. I think the narrators did and excellent job reading and speaking with the raw emotion the author was trying to evoke. Loved the whole production!
