Love the spell Sarah weaves in her writing. This is the second series I’ve listened to of hers and I’m in complete love with her writing style. She pulls you in and keeps a firm hold on you for the entirety of the book. I’ll definitely complete this series too!

First of all.. the narrator did a fantastic job with the characters and the fact that he has a beautiful accent helped incredibly! The story was great and comical at times. The relationship between young Ian and young Jamie is a refreshing break from the adults they are in the series currently. I’ve read her other books before this one so I listened to this book with with juvenile expectations for the young lads. The story didn’t disappoint!! It was fantastic!

What an amazing book by Brenda Tetreault, and now brought to life by A. Faye Hughes!!!
Hughes is absolutely fantastic! She managed to pull me right into the story within the first thirty seconds! Her ability to capture the male characters' attitudes and tone really made an impact on me. The characters weren't just acting out scenes in my mind, instead she breathed life into them, and teleported us all into the fey world, modern world, and beyond! Each character had their own magical quality before, but now the magic is in their own voices! She truly brought them all to life and I was deeply saddened to have the book end. I can easily lose hours in Brenda Tetreault's Nightshade series but Hughes makes me want to climb in their world and never leave! She has become my new favorite narrator. : )
A wonderful duo, author and narrator!
