Enjoyed this book

I love anything about Key West but this was set back in hard times of the 1930's era . It centered around the hard times of 3 women & their potential men that admired them. It also was centered around the military camps of WW1. Without spoiling more the great hurricane of 1935 (true story) was part of the book. I'm glad I gave this book a chance it was a good listen it kept my attention.

Sad but enlightening

Although a very sad story @ times it was enlightening that such things happen in this world.I was glad that some of the family found each other despite the odds.
Great narration held my attention with both narrators.

I have followed Charles kuralt when he was alive and a great journalist especially on CBS Sunday Morning I loved his travels and long for the years gone by a great storyteller and sorely missed . They just don't make them like him anymore

I like to travel & am not a fancy person back roads are my favorite. All the while step by step I was on an incredible adventure with Mike. Not that I would ever do this alone (female) You really find their are still kind people in the world.
