I Hunt Killers introduced the world to Jasper (Jazz) Dent, the son of the world's most infamous serial killer. When a desperate New York City detective comes knocking on Jazz's door asking for help with a new case, Jazz can't say no. The Hat-Dog Killer has the Big Apple - and its police force running scared with no leads. So Jazz and his girlfriend, Connie, hop on a plane to the big city and get swept up in a killer's murderous game. Meanwhile, Jazz's dad, Billy, is watching... and waiting.

To much..
Revisado: 07-07-19
The book is great but it just had repeating inner thoughts from the main character. We get your plight now move on. Also, these people seem a little dumb because they do nothing that is logical. I get they are telling the story with twist and turns but they are just stupid (literally). I figured out the twist or plot 2/4 of the way in. It's just a little to obvious. BUT I still love the book and it's characters. Moving directly onto book 3 now!

Historia
Jazz is a likable teenager. But he's also the son of a (now incarcerated) infamous serial killer, and "Dear Old Dad" has taught Jazz everything he knows. But what Jazz doesn't know is whether or not he is destined to follow in his father's footsteps. He knows he has urges, but he also knows that he has a conscience, that he can follow his own path. And so, in an effort to right his father's wrongs, Jazz decides to help the police (although they don't know it yet) hunt down "The Impressionist" - a new serial killer in town.

lUVed this book!!

His inner thoughts about his personality conflict got really repetitive. I got over it because the book was really good. Hope that conflict dampens so what in book 2.

Since the 1970s, FantasticLand has been the theme park where "Fun is Guaranteed!" But when a hurricane ravages the Florida coast and isolates the park, the employees find it anything but fun. Five weeks later, the authorities who rescue the survivors encounter a scene of horror. Photos soon emerge online of heads on spikes outside of rides and viscera and human bones littering the gift shops, breaking records for hits, views, likes, clicks, and shares.

Historia
A silent, simmering killer terrorized New England in 1911. A heat wave unlike any that had come before killed people in the streets, caused others to drown in the waters where they sought relief, and drove still others to suicide. As more than 2,000 people died during the natural disaster, another silent killer began her own murderous spree. Amy Archer-Gilligan operated the Archer Home for Elderly People and Chronic Invalids in Windsor, Connecticut.

REALLY PREVIOUS REVIEWERS??
Revisado: 07-14-18
I kept putting off this book because all I read about in the reviews was "it's mostly about the heatwave. blah, blah, blah."! Totally not true. The heatwave was only in 1/4 of the book and it set up the book really well. Without out it would have been rather blah. Plus I learned about something that I had never knew about. IGNORE THE REVIEWS THAT COMPLAIN THAT ITS ALL ABOUT THE HEATWAVE!!

Historia
The wayward son of a revered Civil War general, Roland Molineux enjoyed good looks, status, and fortune - hardly the qualities of a prime suspect in a series of shocking, merciless cyanide killings. Molineux's subsequent indictment for murder led to two explosive trials and a sex-infused scandal that shocked the nation. Bringing to life Manhattan's Gilded Age, Schechter captures all the colors of the tumultuous legal proceedings.

Historia
Two days before Christmas 1996, the broken, battered body of Sophie Toscan du Plantier was found outside her vacation home in West Cork, a serene region on Ireland’s idyllic southern coast. Decades later, no one has been charged with the murder, but the aggrieved inhabitants of West Cork are convinced they know who did it - and he still lives among them.

Historia
In this sweeping, threaded narrative of the global phenomenon known as the Vampire Wars, mankind is unwittingly infected by a millennia-old bacteria unknowingly exhumed by a scientific expedition in Antarctica. Now, in some rare cases, a person’s so-called junk DNA becomes activated. Depending on their racial and ethnic heritage, they begin to manifest one of the many diverse forms of the "others" that are the true basis for the legends of supernatural creatures. These aren’t your usual vampires and werewolves - it goes much deeper than that.

Exceptional vampire book!! By far the best
Revisado: 01-06-17
BEST VAMPIRE BOOK I'VE READ. The detailed history and folk lore is astounding. Buy this audio book for this reason... Its not just 1 seperate species of vampire it is upwards of thousands of different species from folk lore around the world. I usually don't type out written reviews but for this one I had to.
