Joy Bear is improving with each book. I’m sure she has many more stories to give us. Ali Gifford’s narrating is excellent, giving us different voices for characters and doing the story justice. Her voice is so comforting that I love listening to her. In these confusing times, it is wonderful to have a soothing voice.

Joy Bear has a good story. She follows through with probable outcomes.
Ms.Gifford’s voices for each character and her soothing quality kept me entertained and intrigued.

Perfect story for a long drive!

This narrative happened while I was on a long drive. The author (Joy Baer)made it a very pleasant trip wile keeping my interest and curiosity. The narrator (Ali Griffons) kept the story moving and the voice, dialogue cadence and emotions helped me keep track if the different characters, plus her soothing voice helped me keep interested while on the long trip. The book ends with “To be continued..”, and I look forward to this very much.

Interesting first book of what I hope is 2

I enjoyed THE SISTERS OF LEOD a great deal. Elizabeth Hutchinson Bernard took time and depth in researching her family and gave the reader/listener a good story. I hope there is a second novel about the sister, who seems fascinating. A. Gifford’s reading of this story was refreshing and let my mind follow and enliven the author’s writing. I hope to find more to listen to from her.
