Great Novel
Revisado: 08-05-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Death Sight to be better than the print version?
Well, that's all a matter of opinion. Some people like reading more than listening and vice versa. Having read and then listened to it though, I will say it was nice to be able to listen to the story while I was doing other things with my eyes and hands.
What about James Foster’s performance did you like?
He has a pleasant voice that fits the main character. I also liked his pacing. Sometimes in audiobooks, the narrator reads slower than I'd like.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Unfortunately I couldn't listen to it all in one sitting because I lack the focus most of the time. However, I listened to the first half in small spurts and finished the second half in one sitting. So I'd say it's riveting enough to make me want to.
Any additional comments?
I suggest reading the four short stories about Will Castleton if you enjoyed this. If you look the author up on Amazon, you should be able to find them fairly easily. Also, Weed by David Bain and Daryl Burns takes place in Green River, the town that Will is from that he visits in this book

Entertaining.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I wanted to recommend this to a friend of mine because she's totally into fairy tales and the like. I don't think she'd read it (and I know she wouldn't listen to it) though because she's stubborn. Haha. :P
Which character – as performed by Charlotte Parry – was your favorite?
Beauty, of course. She was the protagonist so she had the most personality. Plus, she's a lot like me. Practical, sort of nose in the book type of person.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Not this time. Not that it didn't invoke emotions. Just not like this.
Any additional comments?
I would suggest it. It was very entertaining.

Was fun.
Revisado: 06-24-14
What made the experience of listening to Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH the most enjoyable?
Well as a fan of The Secret of NIMH growing up, my favorite part of actually listening to the book was all the extra details I never knew of that they didn't put in the movie.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH?
The story of NIMH was the most memorable moment for me. Very interesting and entertaining.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wasn't able to listen to this all in one sitting. I don't think I could have sat still this long.

Historia
If there’s such a thing as luck, Lily Harper definitely doesn’t have it. Killed in a car accident before it’s her time to go, Lily learns that the hereafter isn’t exactly what she hoped it might be. First, there’s AfterLife Enterprises, the company responsible for sorting out the recently dead and sending them on their way to the Kingdom, (aka happily ever after,) or to the Underground City, (not so happily ever after.)

Love her books.
Revisado: 05-18-14
Would you listen to Better Off Dead again? Why?
I'd probably listen to this again because I always revisit books I like.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Bill. He's hilarious. I love that he's an angel but has human problems. He has the most personality out of the characters that you're introduced to in the books.
Which scene was your favorite?
The ending scene, I think. After they were safe and the mission was done, that last bit of character interaction was the most fun for me.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No I didn't have an extreme reaction. I did laugh at a lot of Bill's antics, but not like extremely hard or anything. It was a fun listen but it wasn't emotionally moving.
