Everything that Fredrik Backman writes becomes an instant favorite of mine. He writes emotion and human experience better than, or at least as well as, any other author I've ever read. He is brilliant. This story was incredible and the narration was wonderful. His books always leave me wanting more.

What did you love best about State of Nature?
I love Ryan Winfield. I stumbled across "The Park Service" and read it. And LOVED IT. Then I discovered it was the first of the trilogy and the other 2 books weren't out yet! I was so impatient, but it was SO worth the wait.
What other book might you compare State of Nature to and why?
The series is like "Hunger Games", "Divergent", "Maze Runner" and many other Dystopian Teen Fiction, but SO much better. Especially because it ends well!
Which scene was your favorite?
All of them.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When these two best friends really admitted their love for each other and faced danger knowing what they had been through.
