I absolutely LOVED the NARRATOR. She was EXCELLENT!! I meant EXCELLENT. The story was great. I liked how it did not start out slow. What I loved is that even though one may think they already know what is going on, here comes the twist. Very good. This was my second one from this author. Really enjoyed it.

I LOVE Angela Marson’s. The Overall 1 is because I never finished the book due to the narration. Performance is a 1 due to the narration (although Alison is not bad but the inflections and pitch are lackluster…I am sorry). The Story…I did not nor wish not to finish as I can’t take the narration and could not get through the first chapter…..thrice. I may buy the book and read myself when I am not busy. Or not.

The story were horrible and it took FOREVER for me to listen to this book. Nothing was exciting about it and the story made no sense. I like the narrator because she does great with different voices. Who cares if accents are down pat, I can definitely listen to Natalie Ross again. Anne Frasier’s books are normally slow but THIS BOOK was a major disappointment. I like the characters so will get Stay Dead in hopes it will be better than this.

Excellent book but I could not stand the persistent imagery because it was repetitive and sounded like a book filler. The narrator had a nice voice but she needs more practice with inflection as it was somewhat monotone. Despite the different characters. THE STORY however; my goodness! I enjoyed it. I saw NOTHING coming and was intrigued. Although the repetitive imagery made me want to stop short with the listening and exchange the book, Anne was able to pull me back in and
give it a chance. Glad I did because I think this is Anne’s best story!
Good job!! I will be keeping this one in my library for a second listen!
