this will have you really wanting book 2 in their story. superb voice acting, it's excellent in a way you only get when you get a male and female voice actor on a book. it will make you LOL several times, at least it did for me! good stuff.

One of my favorite series

this book fits right in with the others in the series. Some important plot points set up on this book as well. One of the reasons I love CJ Cherryh's style is that you know the main character so well after reading a few books. you see him grow and change in his role, especially in later installments. There is a great balance between political intrigue and action in this book. You will understand what is motivating events and have more insight into them as well. I recommend!

This is one of my favorite series. Ms. Cherryh sets up the most detail and plot involvement of an author I have read/listened. She provides just the right amount of action to keep the book exciting and leaving you wanting more. Mr. May does a great job narrating, excellent distinct voices for the key characters, well done!
