Historia
The entries in this compulsively listenable book bridge past and present with topics like getting ghosted, handling haters, and why dog owners rule (sorry, cat people). Along the way you'll get a glimpse of Edith Wharton's sex life, dating rituals in Ancient Greece, catfishing in 500 BC, medieval flirting techniques, and squad goals from Catherine the Great.

Lessons that our problems are indeed old as time
Revisado: 03-11-22
The Captain shows in the book that all of our current troubles are indeed old as the world himself. From getting ghosted by lovers to people plotting on you due to jealousy to dealing with insecurities. There really is nothing new under the Sun. Hearing about how historical figures dealt with their troubles really motivated me to step it up in my life. Interesting and insightful listen with just the right amount of crass and humor.

Historia
Before he became an award-winning writer and poet, Brian Sonia-Wallace set up a typewriter on the street with a sign that said “Poetry Store” and discovered something surprising: All over America, people want poems. An amateur busker at first, Brian asked countless strangers, “What do you need a poem about?” To his surprise, passersby opened up to share their deepest yearnings, loves, and heartbreaks. Hundreds of them. Then thousands. Around the nation, Brian’s poetry crusade drew countless converts from all walks of life.
