A long time "dear reader" of Stephen King's (and his alter ego's) books, I've found, unfortunatley, more and more, his latest books (written or published) to be unfortunate affairs. Carrie, The Stand (original), Different Seasons, Christine, Dead Zone--they all shine. Even some of his new ones have moments. BUT "Blaze" should have been kept in the box (as Stephen King himself has wondered, in the preface). And what is truly horrifying about this book is that what he feared the most has come true. I giggled uncontrollably throughout the entire book...I understand he is a prolific writer, but not everything he writes--as much as he may enjoy writing and reading them--needs an audience.

Don D is excellent, but this book is torture. Not sure if reading it is any better. Listening, I keep starting over. The monotonous reading is appropriate, for sure, for DD's writing, but this is torture...

The movie pales in comparison to this wonderfully written book. While I've read that some of the material in this book have been debunked, it reads well, fast, and makes you a believer of some of the astonishing possibilities to the identity of Zodiac.

This isn't bad for those who haven't read/heard "State of Denial" or that book written by Richard Clark, (and one or two others), but for those who have, this will read like an amalgamation of all the other 9/11 and Iraq books. Currently listening to Tenet's book, and so far, Tenet's writing is pedestrian at best, sloppy at worst.

This isn't the most popular of his books, but the reading makes this book is masterful. I've listened to this particular book a dozens of time, simply because of the reading. I enjoy DD greatly and have downloaded several of them, but this is the best read bar none. In fact, I enjoyed this rendition so much that I've actually checked the other books recorded by this reader (but unfortunately, the other titles are in genres that I am unfamiliar with). For those who enjoy DD, this is an excellent audio version.
