Historia
Machiavellians may not get to heaven, but on earth they have a definite edge on the competition. In this pithy and discretely vicious guide, Stanley Bing shows how the Florentine master statesman and political thinker would handle today's myriad corporate challenges, seize the future by the throat, and make it cough up money, power, and superior office space. So, what exactly would Machiavelli do?

I actually bought this book because I saw the show. The book certainly has stronger ties to reality, of course, which I found refreshing. I think this book May give some insight to someone considering a career in consulting, but I wouldn't consider it to be a "how-to" guide.
Great performance, I think the narrator did justice to the characters within, and presented things like footnotes, definitions and even the appendix in a way that was easy to follow on audio, which many seem to struggle doing.
overall definitely recommend for its irreverent take on a fabled career path!

What do you do after you write a #1 best-selling book about your drunken, sexual misadventures that makes you rich and famous? Celebrate by getting more drunk and having insane amounts of sex, obviously. And pretty soon you've got another f-ing book on your hands. Stuffed full of ridiculous stories of bad decisions, debauchery, and sexual recklessness, Assholes Finish First starts where I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell left off, then proceeds to "some next-level shit."

More Tucker...

If you've read any of his bogs or previous books, then you already know what to expect from this book. It's immature at best but if you're looking for frat boy humor then you get it here.
Performance leaves a bit to be desired but I'd say it's at least a bit better than his previous read. (Listen at a slower speed if the slurring becomes too much)

GREAT BOOK. HORRIBLE READER

Great Read- poor listen
Revisado: 07-21-15
The content of the book was so good I'll buy the hard copy - but the performance was not great. I understand the regional dialect differences between the US and Canada - but would hope for a more agnostic accent in an audio book. Some of the pronunciations and emphasis were distracting and there were more than a few times when it was apparent the recording occurred at a different time as the pacing, pitch and tone were much different than previously recorded. Honestly made it a pretty difficult listen.
