I don't like American-British hybrid accents like Bill Bryson's or Elizabeth McGovern's. They put me on edge.

The performance could have been as good as in the other books in the series if they had waited a couple weeks for Rebecca's congestion to clear up. It was distracting.

I'm so glad that I listened to this book. It gives so much valuable insight into Levana and the workings of Lunar society and culture. This story made my heart ache from start to finish, for Levana herself and for every character she affects.

The narration was so unnatural that I found it hard to listen to the story.

This book is just as exciting as the other two, just not quite in the same way. It is the perfect conclusion to the story.

Becca's voice is nice enough, but her reading was terrible. She emphasized what I consider to be all the wrong words. The manner in which she said things didn't make sense with what James intended as the meaning. Becca needs to learn to read context. She also reads a lot of stuff loudly even when it says that it is whispered or moaned. I had to drag myself through this audiobook because of her performance.

With this type of story, of course, we need the right voice. You know why. His voice is delightful, and he reads the story exactly as I think it should be read. Also, his female character voice is subtle so that it isn't distracting.

If you're reading or listening to this book, you have probably read or listened to Fifty Shades of Grey. Obviously, it is the same story. But it gives us insight into Christian, which is exactly what we need. I recommend reading this before the second and third books of the Fifty Shades series. Having an understanding of his motives improves the story immensely.

I kept having to remind myself that Mark is not a real person. I felt completely invested in this character as if he was my longtime friend. There is a good bit of science talk, but I didn't feel overwhelmed by it. If anything, it made it more believable.

This book is the third of the series and is not what I wanted it to be. I have only read up to this one, but so far it is the least exciting to me. It is not nearly as silly as the first two, and the silliness is exactly what I like about them. It also has an unsatisfying resolution. I am hoping for something better from the next one.

This story is not as exciting as the first of the series but is still entertaining. Martin Freeman is entertaining in his narration, but pauses every few words which makes it more difficult for me personally to concentrate on what he is actually saying. His variety in character vocals was nice. The only issue I had with that is the silly American accent of one of our supporting characters. An American accent is not what is silly, mind you. It was the exaggeration of it that annoyed me. For a character with so many lines, I would have preferred a less irritating accent. Nonetheless, it was still a good narration and story.
