An ordinary family man, geologist, and Mormon, Soren Johansson has always believed he'll be reunited with his loved ones after death in an eternal hereafter. Then, he dies. A must to listen!
Revisado: 03-23-24
Such a great way to describe total despair. This was fantastic in every way. I am both fascinated and shocked at something I've never heard about before. Its just under 3 hours to listen to but so so much was said and so much was felt. highly recommend

I am disappointed
Revisado: 11-26-23
maybe some slight spoilers
tl;dr this book was long and boring
this book was long and boring. everything that happened was wild and unlikely to ever happen. so it totally took you away from the story. I listened all the way to the end even tho I wanted to give up several times and was even more disappointed in the bullsh*t ending. there was zero focus on what actually happened and why the world was in that scenario, mid-tier character building and it felt like the events that happened to the MC were forced into the story to make "action" on an otherwise boring a** hike across some burned up woods.
the narrator was pretty good and was my first time listening to her. I feel I'd listen to her again.

it takes some getting used to IMO
Revisado: 05-17-23
so the book is good. it took most of the first book to get used to William dufris but once I did the narration was great.
Both Des and Billy are a couple of whine bags and while they're individually good characters putting them together is irritating. Billy is constantly love sick over this girl that is clearly and asshat to him.
IMO the only thing about this book that's good is the actual zombies and how they're described and who they've progressed. it's different and fun. des and Billy need to stfu and get a grip.

Amazing
Revisado: 05-01-23
this isn't my usual read and the only real reason I bought it was RC bray was the narrator.
Let me tell you that this book was a masterpiece from start to finish. The way the MC spoke and his mannerisms were detailed out so well that you think you know this guy personally. it was a treat to listen to this.

SO. GOD. DAMN. GOOD!!
Revisado: 04-01-23
Infinite is my top rated book. it was one of the first books i listened to on audible and let me tell you, what a ride since! evry book i picked up that Jeremy has written has been an excellent journey. so much so that i resigned to only listen to his books when i was free of distractions.
This book rounded off the world he built nicely. It was well written and superbly voiced. R.C. bray is an absolute beast at narration and making characters come to life, I was beyond blown away and will 100% listening to all these books again.

War heroes aren't usually called out of semi-retirement and sent to the far reaches of the galaxy for a routine investigation. So when Colonel Carl Butler answers the call from an old and powerful friend, he knows it's something big - and he's not being told the whole story. A high councilor's son has gone MIA out of Cappa Base, the space station orbiting a battle-ravaged planet. The young lieutenant had been wounded and evacuated - but there's no record of him having ever arrived at hospital command.

The cause of death is unknown to all aside from Jonas, and his lone companion, Bubbles, a sarcastic AI with aspirations to be more human, or a serial killer. One of the two. Maybe both. Jonas calls his ability...mind bullet.
