Not disappointed at all, kept the same energy

I bought these books for purely selfish reasons, I wanted to be entertained. So far, I've been pleased with the work. Second book continued in great fashion and kept building. Again, the favorite part is listening to the narrator deal with the error messages, those drag laughs from me. Thanks and keep this up, looking forward to the third installment in the series!

Got what I expected

The story blurb told me what to expect and I got it. The author waits a good while before any NSFW stuff happens. It's probably 10% when it comes to the NSFW scenes. The main character is top of the food chain but the author gave disadvantages to keep things less certain. It was entertaining, I really liked how names were made up for characters.

If I had to complain, some female narration just before a NSFW scene felt like each word was said by an unwilling speaker. This wasn't during the NSFW but just before that scene happened. I couldn't tell why it was done that way, maybe a bad day for the voice actress. The music between scenes wasn't needed but also wasn't long.

I'd buy the second book - if made, the pace was fine and the story interesting enough to read.

Howard and the Well

I'm of the opinion that the author needs to learn better ways to steer the story. The author has total control over a story (duh), the trick is not to let the reader realize that. Get into the moment and enjoy the ride! That's the goal.

I was thrown off that by the following. The paladin death trap, and his forgiveness of it. The Well decision. And how the ending happened.The "And they all lived happily ever after" type of endingleft me hollow inside at the loss of time I spent listening. The only saving grace is the narrator, who nails his characters every time.

One of the most enjoyable adventures

I didn't know what to expect based on the picture on the cover. I actually passed this one over for months as the positive reviews poured in. The author did too 'swell' a job with the artwork and I paid more attention to the females attributes. Anyway, I call this an adventure and found myself laughing loudly and cheering for the main character. Excellent job of appealing to my more wanton destruction needs. Thanks!
