In The Principal 2.0, Fullan explains why the answer lies neither in micro-managing instruction nor in autonomous entrepreneurialism. He shows a new way forward that allows principals to expand their roles without overstepping and contribute to the development of the whole school.

We are at the precipice!!
Revisado: 09-03-23
The principal 2.0 is more than just a second edition of Fullan’s 1st edition in 2014. 2.0 puts the not only the critical importance of the principal as a catalyst for change but signals an awareness of where we are as the human race. We either are at the precipice of learning the benefits for using the systemness of our public school system for growing a humane society for all or at the precipice of wrongfully using technology, families, teachers, students, and principals for the loss of humanity. Against all Odds
Revisado: 10-21-22
A must “listen.”This historical narrative, while at times hard to hear, the at times overwhelming numerous injustices afflicted upon humans, fighting for what they thought would be a natural consequence of the 15th US constitution amendment! History is seen through the lens of HBCs (Historically black colleges) and barriers southern black families encountered trying to install separate public school system for their children. The role northern philanthropists played in dictating curriculums that served their financial goals opposed to a liberal democratic equitable education for freed southern blacks was demonstrated through the “Hampton-washington” model requirements. Money would only be donated if strict compliance to only an industrial -horticulture curriculum aimed at producing laborers for their southern businesses. The southern and northern US historical-time period, 1860-1935, is portrayed in a non biased perspective that represents the true meaning of the challenges faced by powerless groups trying to achieve a democratic outcome in schooling. This injustice, unfortunately may continue if we as citizens remain neutral or prefer to distort or ban certain history from our current educational institutions.

Historia
In this groundbreaking history of the modern American metropolis, Richard Rothstein explodes the myth that America's cities came to be racially divided through de facto segregation - that is, through individual prejudices, income differences, or the actions of private institutions like banks and real estate agencies. Rather, he incontrovertibly makes clear that it was de jure segregation - the laws and policy decisions passed by local, state, and federal governments - that actually promoted the discriminatory patterns that continue to this day.

Flawed American History Exposed
Revisado: 06-09-21
Rothstein’s book provides all readers (listeners) with the correct legal terminology for “de facto”3segregation. Rothstein, (2017) argues that the correct term is “de jure “ segregation due to the US Federal & States, explicit FHA and Veteran's Administrations financial home loans be given to “whites-only. Moreover, these US Federally housing loan restrictions are shown to have violated the rights of black Americans according to the 13th, 14th, & 5th Amendments of the US Constitution! It's a must read! Educators will want our history book producers to cite our American history with precise accuracy after reading this reader (listener) friendly book. I finished it in one sitting! The audible reader of this book gave it the exact intonation and import needed. Rothstein's (2017), “The Color of War” will refine your knowledge of how America is the creator of it's own so-called urbanicity.
