I’m a huge fan of Darci Hannah’s Beacon Harbor Bakery mysteries. This is one of my favorites to date! I’m in love with the atmosphere and the characters. I want to be a part of the community. Once again, I was left salivating, listening to all the fabulous dishes being created, and enjoyed. This mystery was full of intrigue and humor. Cozy fireplace with a mug of hot cider and enjoy!

I have read the entire Beach Plum Cove series so far and am now binge listening to the audio. A series to enjoy over and over again. Loved this second one, as Pamela expands on the enjoyable characters that feel like family. Love the narrator. She does an excellent job! Easy to listen to.

Great story and series!

I love this series set on the cliffs in Maine. It’s a cozy little town and I love the characters. The story was great! I enjoyed it. The narrator needs work. She seems robotic at times which made it harder for me to focus and just enjoy it he story in those moments. I still highly recommend this series as well as many others from Kathi.

Love Cynthia Ellingsen’s Starlight Cove books! Anxiously awaiting a fourth one, hopefully? As a native Michigander, I know of the charm and beauty some of our towns along our Great Lake shores have. I love the characters and the fact that she brings them in from previous books. This is a great summer book to read on the beach or just when you wish you were there!

Delightful beach read

I have been asked what my favorite book is a few times. While I have several, I could never pinpoint THE favorite. I think I just found it. I will make a point of listening to this again and again. I’m a native Michigander, and know the beauty of our lakes and shoreline, as well as the lighthouses. The author does an awesome job of painting the quaint picture of some of our towns along the shoreline. The story pulls you in from the start and is the perfect mix of summer, romance, intrigue, humor and quaintness.

Heroism and loyalty between man and dog

This story leaves me stunned at the heart, loyalty, reasoning and determination of these dogs and their mushers. Amazing story that is too good not to pass down from generation to generation. A tour guide in Alaska told us a few tidbits of this amazing race to save lives. It left me wanting to learn more. I’m glad I did.
