Excellent - action - fun and more

Enough action for most action junkies. I love airplanes and have spent the past 40 years around them, and vintage planes are always fun.
I listened to books 1 and 2 back to back.

A twist of Reacher with airplanes.

Starts slow, but picks up speed.

While the story starts slowly compared to the first book in the series, it steadily builds excitement through strong character and plot development. With abundant action and espionage, most readers will be captivated, especially with surprising character surprises that add depth to the novel.

A quick summary of Barbara's life

The audio is poor and at times, difficult to understand.

I thought there would be more information, but overall it was good. It starts with her early years and first marriage through the not-trial in Australia to a few testimonies.

If you enjoy her work, it is worth the time to listen to it.

Boring - I couldn't finish it

I might have finished it if every third sentence didn't contain the 'f' word. As a wedding photographer for more than twenty years, I did enjoy the speeches in the book.

The acting was good, along with the sound effects.

It is an excellent time travel military thriller - However, as others stated, it is a cliffhanger - really?

Is there a part ii coming or?

Ray Porter does an excellent job as always - if you are interested in a little sci-fi - what if type of thriller, then this is for you.

horrible - I am glad I started with book 3 to current first

I couldn't get past the half way point. I started with book three and listened through the current book, and I am glad that I didn't start with this one.

the storyline and narration is not up to the other books.

great blend of old and new reacher

The story moved well, and is a great blend of the legacy Reacher and movie / TV reacher.

As in all Reacher books, there is plenty of Reacher to Reacher dialogue with a good blend of social discussions.

More than a thriller

It is a mix of history and thriller. The character development and storyline are among the best I have listened to in a long time. Jay Myers does an amazing job with the narration and combined with the plot; it made me want to take a long road trip to keep listening.

There are times when the language (especially toward women) is too detailed, but I am sure that is how some of the 'monsters' talk.

There are many stories within the main plot, which makes the book even better, and why I highly recommend it.

He didn't convince me

I am a hypocrite based on his beliefs and statements in the book. At 67, I might be too ingrained in conventional thinking, have too much life experience where saving for medical emergencies and life is critical to change.

I plan to leave money to my children and children's children. How much, it depends what I can earn and save between now and the last day on this great planet.

Plus, I give monthly and plan to leave more to charities on my last day. If I could look on the bottom of my foot and see the expiration date, maybe I would think differently, but since I don't know my last day nor my wife's, I will continue being the hypocrite he states that I am.

We have many life's experiences, but goal is to lead a life of impact.

Read with caution.

Filled with many life lessons

There are so many great points in the 'playbook' discussed in this book that I bought the PDF to use and continue studying.

The lessons in this book are built around a rookie football player and one coach on the team.

A tremendous read and life lessons.
