Historia
After 18 years of marriage, Kathy Walker has settled into a pattern of comfortable routines-ferrying her two teenagers between soccer practice and piano lessons, running a film production business with her husband, Robert, and taking care of the beautiful Boston home they share. Then one day, Kathy discovers a suspicious number on her husband's phone. Six years before, Kathy accused Robert of infidelity - a charge he vehemently denied - and almost destroyed their marriage in the process. Now Kathy must decide whether to follow her suspicions and risk of losing everything, or to trust.

This story does not disappoint!
Revisado: 05-02-25
I loved the way the main characters’ personalities slowly unfolded as we learned more about them. The complexities of cheating in a marriage were built up to the final confrontation. It was real, gritty and authentically the story of two people who put everything else in front of nurturing their marriage.

Amazing female heroine
Revisado: 03-30-25
I loved the spunky, quirky and intelligent main character. The author created her as a logical and courageous woman who never gives up. The plot was well developed with some great twists and surprises. This was a very enjoyable book. I couldn’t stop listening and it was fun to have this story to transport me to a different place while doing chores at home.

I love the journey of the mom as she tries to maintain a connection with her son. It was actually refreshing to hear the son speaking in his own voice. Learning vocab was an interesting peak into middle school sneaker world.

I actually liked the narrator!!
Revisado: 06-25-23
I know several people have criticized the narrator but I liked how she tried to use different voices for different characters. Some events were a bit too predictable and others seemed awkward. Overall I enjoyed the book but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever read. It was enjoyable as a bedtime audible book.
