Virtual Voice is Awful
Revisado: 01-31-24
Another virtual voice fail! Absolutely no inflection or emotion, in the highly emotional parts. Hard to stay invested.

boring narrator

This book is a great example of why you need actual people to read an audio book
Revisado: 01-12-24
The story was interesting and kept me entertained, but the computer generated audio is so distracting. This is meant to be a gripping story of child abduction, but the virtual voice reads it in a bright cheery tone (as a husband tells his wife their daughter is missing).

Historia
Many know Kimberly Williams-Paisley as the bride in the popular Steve Martin remakes of the Father of the Bride movies, the calculating Peggy Kenter on Nashville, or the wife of country megastar Brad Paisley. But in 2014, Williams-Paisley revealed a tragic secret: Her mother had been diagnosed with a rare form of dementia called primary progressive aphasia at the age of 61.

Great story
Revisado: 04-08-21
KWP does a great job or writing narrating. I like her upbeat, glass half full attitude. She also exemplifies how to find some peace and comfort in an untenable situation.

Historia
Growing up in South Carolina with a family that goes back ten generations, Cameran Eubanks knew from a young age that Southern women are expected to want the white picket fence life. But Cameran has never been your typical Southern belle. Now, she takes you deeper into her life—from her first foray into reality TV to dating to the honest truth about her pregnancy and motherhood—to get to know the person behind the camera. Charming, hilarious, and a hell of a lot fun, One Day You’ll Thank Me is for anyone who has ever wondered if they should or can follow their dreams.

Great and fun read!
Revisado: 03-06-21
I do love the show, so I was admittedly, really looking forward to this book. Great job, Cam!
The only thing I will say is that MANY of the stories shared are also shared on the show, so if you are a big fan, keep that in mind. Her perspective made it totally worth the read, though. Thoroughly enjoyed!
