Historia
Here is the gritty, powerful story of Thomas Sowell's life-long education in the school of hard knocks, a journey that took him from Harlem to the Marines, the Ivy League, and a career as a controversial writer, teacher, and economist in government and private industry. It is also the story of the dramatically changing times in which this personal odyssey took place.

This should be standard lecture for all SJWs it's very inspiring. It was very educating, I wish there would be more Sowells in this world.

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

Great book that fits perfect in our time,

Great book that fits perfect in our time, where everyting is overly regulated. Highlight is the speech of John Galt in the end of the book...

Historia

Historia
One of the 20th century's most challenging novels of ideas, The Fountainhead champions the cause of individualism through the story of a gifted young architect who defies the tyranny of conventional public opinion. The struggle for personal integrity in a world that values conformity above creativity is powerfully illustrated through three characters: Howard Roarke, a genius; Gail Wynand, a newspaper mogul and self-made millionaire; and Dominique Francon, a devastating beauty.

Impressive Food for the brain
Revisado: 01-27-19
This book was/is a great inspiration. What is liberty? What is freedom ? Simple questions that can't be answered easily, if you don't have an own opinion, but who nowadays really has an opinion for oneself?

Historia
In 2011, a 26-year-old libertarian programmer named Ross Ulbricht launched the ultimate free market: the Silk Road, a clandestine website hosted on the Dark Web where anyone could trade anything - drugs, hacking software, forged passports, counterfeit cash, poisons - free of the government's watchful eye. It wasn't long before the media got wind of the new website where anyone - not just teenagers and weed dealers but terrorists and black hat hackers - could buy and sell contraband detection-free.

More research necessary
Revisado: 05-10-17
Would you try another book from Nick Bilton and/or Will Damron?
I was quite dissappointed of this audio book, I hope next time author will do a better research and check sources better.
What do you think your next listen will be?
I probably want to listen to the biography of Walt Disney.
Would you be willing to try another one of Will Damron’s performances?
I wouldn't mind to try another one of Will Damron.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from American Kingpin?
If I cut out the parts I would like to change, there won't be much left of the book.
I would prefer a more dialectic approach.
Any additional comments?
I would like to hear more real inside of the case, at least there is room for more books about this topic.
