You are not going to get fluent using just this resource, but I think this is fine as an adjunct to your main learning course. it's like a podcast, so just view it as that. Not alot of pocasts for beginner hebrew learners . (I recommend StreetWise Hebrew podcast and Hebrew Monkeys Podcast as well for additional listening and learning.) so this is fine if you use it for listening practice, There is alot of talking in English and cultural tips and history. some people might be detracted by that, but if you are a beginner and want an easy listen, this provides even more exposure to Hebrew in an easy digestible manner. You'll come away with a few phrases you can use and more understanding of Israeli culture.

There were some words I hadn’t gone over since level 2 in the first 5 chapters and they were reintroduced here. And I remembered them! The male speaker on level 3 is much better than level 2. Definately a great way to learn and I get compliments on my pronunciation. Onto lessons 6 through 10!

Dance to Hebrew vocabulary

ok you won't really dance. It's not that type of music. But the music does make the vocabulary stick. While it won't make you conversational , not in the least, you will still be introduced to basic , frequently used vocab. Be aware that it doesn't teach you the feminine version of the words, only the masculine. So if this is your first introduction to Hebrew, be aware that there is a feminine version of all this vocab and you are only learning the masculine. And if this isn't your first go round with Hebrew, this could be a good refresher of some basics, albeit , again, only masculine version of the words and phrases. I really like the other title that innovative language has "Top 25 questions You Need to Know in Hebrew", that goes over both the masculine and feminine phrases. But if you want to dip your toes in the Hebrew language pool ,I recommend this as a stress free and fun way to learn. Music makes the world go round and makes language learning fun.

she loves her parents , understandable. but they share the blame for the false doctrine they fed their kids. Jinger puts all the blame on Gothard and tries to make her parents blameless. Sorry Jinger, but they are culpable. Maybe even more so since they televised his teachings for the whole world to see.

More challenging than level 1 but even more useful phrases. I found myself feeling even more confident in my Hebrew speaking ability. One caveat, the male speaker on this one sometimes sounds garbled. I had to replay him alot . I preferred the male speaker in Level 1. also it seems sometimes the male speaker prounounced things differently than the female speaker. But I guess that might be the case in israel, so probably for the best to learn differences in pronunciation just like there are differences of pronunciation in English. Looking forward to continuing with Pimsleur in level 3!

Stop blaming Meghan Markle

All the blame for Harry leaving royal life has been unfairly thrust upon Meghan Markle's shoulders. As if a man who served in the military and a royal at that, can't make up his own mind? The blame? The walk behind his mother's casket for the whole world to see. Caused by the papparazzi. The hate he feels for the paps is beyond measure in this book and understandable. The interesting story is also the rift between the two brothers. The cracks were there way before Prince Harry met Meghan Markle. The little jealousies about flying, which charities were "theirs", etc. but I guess headlines about Meghan vs Kate get more magazines purchased than Prince Harry and his brother getting in an argument about which Prince gets to raise money for African conservation work. In fact reading his book the whole Meghan vs Kate thing seem overblown. Heck, my own sister scrreamed at me during her wedding preparations. IT's typical. nothing newsworthy and completely normal. the real story isn't Kate vs Meghan, it's Prince Harry vs the paps, it's Prince Harry vs William and Meghan vs racist british society. I was aghast when the picture of the monkey was put out there after the baby was born. I was at a park when someone said something about my own son walking "bowlegged"( my son was barely 1 and just starting to walk!) I was about to smack the person . I can understand Prince Harry and Meghan's anger. I am surprised they restrained themselves. Because I wouldn't have been able to. and sure Kate and Camilla have had bad things in the press but not to the degree and hatefullness towards his wife. There is a serious racial bent to it and for some reason many caucasian people cannot see it! I am so sick of people saying Harry and Meghan are hypocrites who want privacy yet they write books, a netflix show, etc. They want to answer the awful things said about them in the press. Correct the lies being told about them. And maybe, maybe the paparazzi will give them some privacy if they just spill the beans themselves. Of course I don't think the paparazzi will ever give up. But at least Prince Harry and Meghan have taken control of their OWN Narrative. Nothing hypocritical about that!
