Historia
The assault on Earth was thwarted by the destruction of the aliens' seed ship, but with Mars still under Lanky control, survivors work frantically to rebuild fighting capacity and shore up planetary defenses. Platoon sergeant Andrew Grayson must crash-course train new volunteers—all while dulling his searing memories of battle with alcohol and meds.

wonderful
Revisado: 02-05-20
as with every book in this series I find myself wanting to know more and more about the characters and what is the ultimate end game. the attention to detail with the military is astounding even though it's a made up sci-fi military but the details of all different branches put together into make this 1 military is phenomenal. as an infantry Soldier myself I find this an incredibly enjoyable to listen to on Audible. I've listened to all the books in the series so far, and I'm highly anticipating the climax of the next two final books in the series.

Historia
Sometimes the worst storms aren't from Mother Nature, and sometimes the worst nightmares aren't the ones in our heads. Mike Mitchell, an average New Yorker already struggling to keep his family together, suddenly finds himself fighting just to keep them alive when an increasingly bizarre string of disasters starts appearing on the world's news networks. As both the real world and the cyber world come crashing down, bending perception and reality, a monster snowstorm cuts New York off from the world, turning it into a wintry tomb where nothing is what it seems.
