A twisting tale
Revisado: 08-29-18
The narration was great, though I couldnt get behind Evie's voice.
The story, like all in the Diviners series is more of a stroll through a gallery of events, than a strict plot driven by the events. I do enjoy the style quite a bit, and it makes me feel closer to the characters. Ut did lag toward the end and I almost stopped listening, but I'm glad I finished the book. It was overall a well written and enjoyable novel. I can't wait for the next installment.

Historia
Henry "Monty" Montague doesn't care that his roguish passions are far from suitable for the gentleman he was born to be. But as Monty embarks on his grand tour of Europe, his quests for pleasure and vice are in danger of coming to an end. Not only does his father expect him to take over the family's estate upon his return, but Monty is also nursing an impossible crush on his best friend and traveling companion, Percy.

A good read
Revisado: 08-29-18
The story was good, not exceptional, but enjoyable. The relationship driving the novel was sweet and everything you'd expect a true first love to be. The events were intertwined artfully. The personal story between Monty and Percy was always cut off and returned at just the right moments. The driving adventure helped to move the plot along as well, keeping me interested throughout the story.
The narrator performed well, though his voicing on the lady characters was less than discrete.
Overall the book was a nice read during my otherwise dull commute. I'll have to listen to it again at some point.
