Very Entertaining!

Keke Palmer narrates this story perfectly! She’s perfect with the voice changes so you know who’s talking. I found myself laughing so much with this story. Although this is a short story, the character development is really good. It did not feel like I listens to a two hour story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Historia
What I learned after last year’s distractions cost my hockey team our entire season? No more screwing up. No more screwing, period. As the new team captain, I need a new philosophy: hockey and school now, women later. Which means that I, Hunter Davenport, am officially going celibate...no matter how hard that makes things.

Cute story with some very Spicy scenes
Revisado: 02-24-23
The overall story is good but not the usual type of story I would listen to. However the author did a really good job with character development and the narrators brought them to life. Ana Osario did have some mispronunciations of words which didn’t really bother me as much as other reviewers. In my opinion it did not detract from her overall performance. She read the role of Demi very well but her performance of the male character was ok. I felt the same about Teddy Hamilton’s performance as well. He did very well with his narration but I preferred Ana reading as Demi. Regardless, I believe this book worthy of a listen.

I really enjoyed this series. I am not interested in Angel romances so when I listened to "The Scribe" I was disappointed at first but continued listening. I'm glad I did because it got really good. Which lead me to listen to the second book "The Singer" which was even better. This last book had more fighting between the Angels and the plot definitely thickened. 😃 I enjoyed her writing extremely. Her use of words at times were so poetic and beautiful. A great listen.

I've been listening to the series and I'm really enjoying it. I like that in this story Zoie was the Heroine. She didn't need saving at all, and I like that about this story. She handled her own.
The Narrarator did an excellent job. You can tell who's talking and he changes accents easily. He definitely puts life into these characters and makes this story very enjoyable. I was easily drawn in.

It took me a moment to get into the book and I almost stopped listening but I decided I would give it a chance. I'm glad I did. The story picked up it's pace and had me on the edge of my seat many times. I will definitely continue listening to this series.
The Narrator did a good job. His voice wasn't annoying and he did well in changing his voice when he was reading different characters.
My favorite part of this story occurs towards the end of the book and I don't want to ruin it for other readers. The heroine's story is well developed but there were a few other details I would have liked to know about her. Overall this book is definitely worth a credit.

Boring
Revisado: 03-13-14
What would have made Dark Prince better?
I don't like to talk badly about any authors work as I know they put a lot of time and effort into their stories. This seemed to have potential but as I listened, this story never really caught my attention. I like passionate stories where you can feel the emotions of the characters and I didn't get any of this from the characters in this story.
What could Christine Feehan have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
The Heroin in this story seemed weak although she was trying to portray her as strong. I couldn't see her this way. It didn't help that her husband, mate, whatever he was to her saw her as fragile and weak. I would have liked to see a stronger female role.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrators voice was great except when she portrayed the heroin. Although I guess it was fitting as the heroin did seem whiny and weak and that is what the narrator portrayed. Her voice became so irritating whenever it was the Heroin's part. I didn't finish the book.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Dark Prince?
Honestly I don't believe in cutting scenes from a book. It could play some importance later on.
Any additional comments?
I have read a Christine Feehan book before and enjoyed it and that was why I picked this book. I wanted to start with the first of the series. I'm having second thought's about reading this series though. I was going to give it until the third book to decide if I would continue with the series but I don't want to feel like I'm wasting credits. We'll see.
