Historia
The only thing standing between Earth and certain destruction is its most powerful man, Zane Walker. To save his home, he’ll have to descend into the depths of the Superdungeon: an unfathomably vast dungeon composed of the ruins of lost realms—and the prison for the universe’s deadliest monsters.

fun story good listen
Revisado: 02-05-25
Love the books definitely worth a read and I don't want to ding the author a star.
*If you like this narrator stop reading
my issue with the performance could easily be taken care of in post but its the same in all the books. Every s sound and some other words has a high pitch whistle and on good speakers/ headphones it's crazy noticeable and actually kind of hurts my ears.

Sorry... Really? Thrust? Anyway, Danny Kendrick was a down-on-his luck performer who always struggled to find his place. He certainly never wanted to be a hero. He just hoped to earn a living doing what he loved. That all changes when he pisses off the wrong guy and gets sucked into a fantasy realm straight out of a Renaissance Fair. Getting used to a new world is tough. It's even tougher when you're surrounded by axe-wielding barbarians, super hot elf assassins, strange magic, and a jaded System that doesn't appear interested in being charged with yet another companion.

good character building, setting up for a good hopefully brutal nemesis for MC
Revisado: 01-13-24
good world and character building - feel like Mc is getting a little OP but is setting up well for an epic antagonist

Historia
The Moonlight Relic sits high atop the Western Reaches, an ancient fortress against invasion from beyond. An age ago, its enchantments were designed to stabilize the dimensions and defend those who lived there, as well as to be a model for other relics of the same type. Not long after it was built, it was shattered in a cataclysmic war.

great world building and a cool story arc
Revisado: 12-19-23
I like twists and turns I stories with this much detail in building (think red wedding). not really that type of book but I think the set up is there for some truly devious enemies

Historia
Astral threads cut across the world, drawing Sam to them like a fire from the past. He discovers that his new race is intrinsically tied to the Void and the stars. Meanwhile, hints of the First War are returning to Aster Fall as the dimension trembles. Flaws are appearing more rapidly than ever, putting pressure on cities across the kingdom. In the shadows, dangerous artifacts related to Outsiders reveal a troubling connection. The relic also holds ancient secrets, some of them powerful enough to change the balance of power in the land.

Good crafting and world building
Revisado: 12-19-23
great story - only hope there is a worth while enemy or threat with all this build up. I feel like Sam gets through most things so far without too much danger. Understandable as he is roughly a God in a lower level world but there are more dangerous foes lining up

A good start to a story
Revisado: 06-21-23
Narration is good with a few oddly pronounced words (wafted) that took me out of the story and were used frequently.
Story starts basic and writing progresses nicely towards the end and I'm betting the second is even better.
a little short for what I normally spend credits on would prefer 12+ hour audio books
character gains are too easy - just seems to get things without having to learn or really progress
worth a listen :)

Preface - I am a fan and will likely finish it
Revisado: 01-25-23
Love the story, characters, narrator, etc....
until recently
If you are on book 8, you get the mechanics, you understand the build and the worlds. Please don't break every action scene with giant explanations and stat read outs between every punch and teleport. We get it - it's litrpg, and that's why we are here, but there is still story flow and excitement that is needed, especially when you've done an amazing job building until the last few books.
Go re-listen to one of the action sequences from the early books and then listen in book 8. It feels like an instruction booklet that we
don't quite need as you have an established reader/listener base. I guess if I was reading these I could skip or skim the annoying stuff
and it would still flow.
I already pre ordered 9 so I'm still supporting, just hoping the quality comes back.
