Best of the Bunch

This book I just couldn't stop listening.

I'm so excited to see what happens as the story continues.

This story is really what I had been looking for in a series lately, a little bit of Hogwarts, mixed with twilight, and hunger games all in one.

Is it slow moving, a bit but nothing that can't be solved listening at a faster speed.

What other book might you compare Final Girls to and why?

I would compare this to Dark Places by Gillian Flynn. Similar with the flashbacks and genre.

I loved this book. I have needed a new book like this in my life and I'm so glad I took the leap and bought it. Great story line. the Twists had me guessing the entire time. Right when I thought I had it figured out there was something from left field. Couldn't recommend this enough.

Great addition to the Storyline

Would you consider the audio edition of The Dirt on Ninth Grave to be better than the print version?

I can't be a good judge on this as i've never read the series only listened to it but Lorelei King does a great job for the narration and really gets Charley Davidson quirky personality.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

This book definitely kept me on the edge of my seat and had me yelling out in frustration or OMG moments throughout. I don't want to give anything away but this book made up from what the previous story was lacking.

What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Charlley's quirky personality, she really brings it to life. :)

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, at the end of the story with charlies dad, i'm not going to give anything away but there were definite moments when I was yelling at my phone while listening to the story.

Any additional comments?

I have loved the Charley Davidson series, since the first book and I do have to say that the eighth book really had me disappointed, and the way it ended had me wonder where the series was going to go. (I mean it could have been Charley not being able to drink coffee in the the 8th book that really got me, I mean Charley without coffee is not Charley at all) I'm really glad that I didn't stop, because this book had all the making of the "feel" moment throughout her time working at the cafe. Well done Darynda Jones well done!

I bought this book on a whim. I read one good review and thought they you never know.

Boy was I surprised. This book I couldn't stop and I finished it in record in time. It was if every favorite YA trilogy was blended into one with a combo of the TV show heroes/XMen with a royal twist. I can't wait for the next one to come out!!!

Couldn't put it down!

This story pulled at your heart strings and had you wanting more. Nothing was as it seemed and no one was safe. Great conclusion to a great trilogy.

It took a while

It took a while for me to get into the story line with the new characters but in the end it hooked me back in!! Stick to it even if you might get confused bc I promise it will all pay off. Can't wait to start the next one!

Great story but bring back Kristen Bell

This was was a great story but the person reading it was horrible. I got confused to often with the inner monologs of the characters. I love the story of Veronica mars and it just not the same without Kristen Bell reading the story. I hope audible brings her back for the next one.

I love that she is a funny girl that doesn't take things to seriously. she a grimm reaper with a sense of humar

This was a great read and i'm so glad i found another series to read. After the sookie stackhouse series had ended it was needed to find another story similar and i'm so glad i finally found one. This is a great story that has so much potential to see where it goes. Light harded, romance with a mystery twist! GREAT LISTEN
