Some might say, Bert may be the epitome of women's suffrage & death rattle existence of the type of hangover that will not end, that tends to feel like the post Carlos Mencia dark age of hack comedy has somehow allowed one last infection that refuses to go away, which is the neo-insufferble post modern entertainers that insist on stealing the title as "comics" or "comedian", when in fact they are not, and not only NOT FUNNY but also even as a "entertainer" I am confused as to exactly what it is you even do? You kind of just keep existing as a hanger-on , clout stealing, sellout that has permeated the air with your stench since your MTV VJ days, and nothing has changed at all - you just yell and demand attention, laughing in ways that make the dead wish they still had eyes to scratch out, and still taking off your clothes for no reason, because you have no material, your "stories" are very very well known as being habitual and constantly changing lies, (Google Bert Kreischer Life Story Lies or "Try-Hard" Bert's Lies) Everything is archived Bert , so there's no a lot to stand on here -

all I want is for some a admittance and public apology and for you to just stop telling Lies, however I don't think you can actually stop - its just too much a part of your existence that you probably feel vulnerable and naked with grossly over indulging in impossible feats, acts and then those special lies that just simply have no origin at all and 100% fabrication.

There is no real difference between Bert and that one guy in every friend group, that thinks he's hilarious but everyone is just too nice to not tell him the truth - that if he just stopped trying so hard to be what he thinks is funny, he might actually grasp the point in comedy - that the TRUTH is always the catalyst to true humor, the truth is relevant & thus universal in language, but I am not so sure Bert will grasp the scope of this revelation and irony, so there is little hope for him to Pivot at this point in his career and figure out that we aren't impressed by the lies, it's just he seems like such a nice guy underneath that gunt, that people want so badly for him to change they just keep holding out for the poor guy? Please don't just live in total darkness and denial Bert, we just want you to come to the light, so we can all realize your true purpose in life, maybe as a bread maker or shoe shiner or something??!

See, Bert has this problem though,
in that he is a habitual liar and never tells the truth about anything that involves him and whatever situation he tries to use as a comedic bit or riff. So just the mere fact that Bert and Truth are diametrically opposed smoke plumes, it then makes it literally impossible for him to write anything worthy, until he learns that instead of being a self made man, it is the coattails of his friends that have allowed him to open some doors because they have the clout & credit needed to basically offer him access to places and tours and spots, or wildly outrageous popular podcasts he does eith these same people, that otherwise, would have been impossible for him to achieve.

These friends all just hapoen to be the current Kings in the comedy podcast world, little known friends like Tom Segura & Joe Rogan, who alone can change your life overnight in whatever it is they decide to vouch for , or back you up in said endeavor(s). Overnight success by affiliation must be super super chill existence and posh living accommodations.

The problem with Bert is he ruins any show he is a guest appearance on, any tour he holds a 10 minute spot in, any special stream or interview he is involved in - because again, he lies about everything, to the point that he can't even keep his own lies straight, that vary wildly, massively & widely - given whatever he perceives he needa to "up the ante" on this time,
or is going to "wow" and "impress".

The irony is , the stories (if even holding a origin of truth at some point), would probably be more funny
with just the simplicity of its inherent truth, as to why it was even funny in the first place?

So not only are people just nodding politely most the time or simply annoyed and want to brush it off, leave or ignore Bert, but nothing he adds to all these fallacious Tall Tales, offer anything more of note or added substance, to make it "more funny" anyways, so the lies are pointless Bert!

and thus;

why my theory is, that his whole image & branding relies upon a gimmick & shtick (sort of) which, is to get blind drunk (ya know cause that makes it easier to follow? or understand?

but ya know... also focus on the task at hand?
But when you are a "Try-Hard" named BERT, the only other thing besides being a happ hazard drunk - as some sort of promotional clown ploy, is this whole 2nd best part of his act - the one to "totally rock your agitation bone and invert your cringe worthy testicles entirely", as he yells and begins taking off his shirt and acting like a 55 y.o. F@%#! BOY , still trying to outperform his prior fraternity recirds & status, of being the worst thing that was invited to any party he has ever attended.

I don't really know why Tom vouches for him?
and I know for a fact there have been issues and problems over the years, but friends are friends and that's cool , it is whatever ,
i can see why you would do a podcast with your friend,

I love Tom and have for a very long time held in very high regard as a comic, as he is just naturally hilarious in his personality & unique world view & perspective, or how he sees things in life play out in ways he can construct and craft into a amazing riff or full bit - that absolutely kills and murders the crowd - and his style is so entirely his own that he has a top 10 position that is permenant, all-time, as a comdic great, and why I had to give at least a couple stars for Tom?

but Tom...cmon, you know well and good why Bert is so insufferble to listen to, fix this malfunction before he starts blaming Ari again for ruining his life, or assaulting him again, as we all know Bert is very well & capable to handle a hit of acid or two, and he probably lied again and never noticed or just felt really good body high fir the evening. Bert acts like Ari tried to murder him in his sleep by tea bagging his face in order to choke on his balls?? Cmon. Calm down Bert, in your convenient tales to throw friends under the bus before you know the whole truth !? He did the same with Chris too... it's so ridiculous the amount of estrogen Bert is contending with??!

The title is still great , and I love Tom but someone needs to seriously start asking why and how Bert is successful living a lifestyle now, that he not only seems totally oblivious to as being a literal miracle no-talent hack?

, but good lord man, please stop lying about very story you tell about "actual events" or "true story" or "real experiences", when you sound like a 4 year old trying to impress his friends with nonsensical and impossible smoke & mirrors logic , that just makes people mad because they know it isn't true - and everytime it's something to make you sound better , or soooo outlandish, or "wild & crazy" , or whatever , it's never a change to make someone else look good either , it's always YOUR position as a child who demands the attention at all times.

watch ANY panel he is on, NOT FUNNY and demands all the attention and just drains the energy in the room , until people are just suffocating and bored out of their minds with your antics & lies.

This is my favorite story on here so far, and I would really like & hope to stumble across more in the episode list or in the future. This is such a fun and fascinating mystery, that's just as strange as it is engaging & fun, with a balanced dialogue, some which suffers a bit in the beginning, but is inconsequential to the overall story.

I highly suggest starting here with this episode or saving it for a dark and creepy rainy night, stashed away and awaiting the play button "click".

Reality TV:
the ever churning, billion dollar meat factory, that is grounded in using human cattle as their exploitative money pigs, as well as the sacrifical lambs of network TV; Thus, the general public typically unaware of who is the real winners of their exploited Innocence & the ensuing collateral damage? who is Oz? And what the F@%#! is not being told and the truth behind the many shattered lives in this evil business of alluring consumption of plastic.

This podacast dives into the deep end , taking us for a ride and breaking down the many angles and sub genres of mystery and intrigue that is associated with real life death and tragedy that is directly associated and linked with the reality TV business and its cut throat associates & executives , willing to dismantle the human spriti and heart , in order to suspend the truth in order to insert their reality and subversive methodologies of a very manipulative and malevolent nature, where true evil resides, and the Neon Demon stakes its claim upon the heads of the innocent.

While the elite socialites & dime a dozen circus clowns who deal in the false utopian projection with million dollar budgets in order to maintain the cash cow pig farm & cast, in Nepotist fashion & modern fallacious sensibility of ethical standards in entertainment, and its code of conduct. This podcast delves into the truth and gives a voice to the hushed minority of its victims, that begins to unfold a very clearly defined set of answers, that holds a very dark truth and hidden secrets; Of which, yes, have always seldom been whispered as a known quantity, but never truly explored this properly & professionally with the main priority being the people & victims of the charm & the sharp teeth in its duality & invasive sense of manic ownership of "its cattle cast & production"

Amongst the more aware & disenchanted , or apathetic aufmdience - The savage nature of this vain & audacious industry, is not simoly just a questionable set of problems or shady ethics or conduct, this is a literal meat factory, sacrificing people at a break neck speed in order to extract every cent out of whatever they deem your spirit and personhood is worth - and the extent of that is automatically monetary , these people have no worth spiritually or otherwise, and this Podcast seeks to simply explain that, "Not all that Glistens is Gold."

The stories here are fantastically well done, the attempt to reign in the empathetic side of a dehumanizing goalies in the industry and remind you of its humanity and the ethical transparency that has always been lacking in what we are told and sold in the marketing and advertising, as well as the glitz & glam phenomenon, overriding any need or attempt by studios to ensure the safety of those they exploit. And as we all know - is a far cry from what we can expect from Hollywood & a new breed in 2000 of cut throat producers, writers and executives, all fighting to find that next big show and those next big stars, at the expense of anyone and everyone ready and willing to sacrifice themselves to "The Neon Demon" -

The vision here is clear - to explore the mysterious and unknown, by way of interviews and research in uncovering and pulling back this curtain of OZ, giving a voice to the silenced and muted, and is so complete and well developrd, defined in its chapters and creative attempt to tell the stories of those who have been abandoned and cast aside, in life & even in death, their humanity is of no consequence, totally lacking importance in Hollywood , but here, the aim is the opposition of madness & evil, & when it comes to the money & the machine, there is no excuse for the lack of code of conduct policies, the mental health protection of these peoples well being, or even understanding the impact that may be had here, yet the role that is taken is the oath of the least resistance, wholly controlled by producers and handlers, that are entirely in over their heads when it comes to the truth of its totality in layers and scope, and not just simply the implied stress or panic that is associated with this type of environment.

Nothing presented is true in Hollywood, by any stretch of the imagination - it is a malevolent beast , seeking its victims and sacrifical lambs, to spill their blood & have their cake and eat it too. all the while - these are real people, these are real spirits, totally being thrown into the blender for the consumption of their very essence and being , and coming away with nothing after sacrificing everything, filling the pockets of these studios, while their entire personhood and safety is in jeopardy now, suffering in the delights of their handlers lust for blood & demand for their all devout faith & branding the knee in worship & supplication to the gods of the living dead, as spiritual nourishment and the feeling frenzy for their appetites.

the empathy & emotion that is evoked in this process is palpable & cold, as for any person willing, listening to this is both chilling and full of goosebumps and fantastic editing and engineering with intersections and twists or turns, but very clearly defined in its objective and vision to say what has needed to be said and told for 20+ years now. For those of you who did not grow up or were coming of age during this time, it is really hard to explain just how massive and huge reality TV was in the Kate 90s and early 2000s , and the overnight success and phenomenon it became, as well as the utterly abysmal and insufferable methods that were totally becoming oversatursted cringe & forced down for consumption, many having zero originality or any redeeming qualities,

Thus the sacrificial sheep, the disposable, the exploited, the totally unethical treatment & disservice to the actors or "unpaid extras" or "underpaid competitors" , holding far less stake in their claim for reimbursed payment to use their image & likeness, as they are loopholed & ripe to order as a cheap and low cost money grab that seeks to disenfranchise the very people making this possible or even skyrocketing their fame in the public view - yet the unwitting & ignorant were totally used as the ritual sacrifice for their Faustian Exchange & Deals , that basically became the mold to churn out even more epoison and toxic mindsets and pursuits of Hollywood , etc.

That has in many ways and parts, played as a large and looming shadow over the social dynamics and problems we see today in how we treat and speak and interact with one another Ina supremely detached fashion, igniting a pandemic of Narcisism and Sociopathic psychology, with an all- american ideology of the freedom to invert social ethics and values and turn it I to a fertile ground for the dark & self destructive illusion, as the pursuit of happiness by way of false utopia and the false reality that has been created now, that demands a profit & wealth from gossip , control & manipulation by handlers not seen since the late 60s and egos so large it has never been conceived of prior.

it is trou Ling, to be so debased that your vulnerable and impoverished are being exploited, literally by any means possible, who simply had no other choice or direction, and the outcomes of tragic and seldom lying spoken whispers regarding these truths - finally have a voice - !

please consider expanding your podcast and continue to move forward in uncovering and pulling back the veil for the public!
Your quality is incredible , in every way and every layer of production and your ability to harness the voiceless and give them a loud and firm platform, to be acknowledged and heard, that otherwise goes sight unseen and apathy takes its usual course. I would love to see you take this same framework in storytelling and audio drama, into other areas of the lesser known and disenfranchised.

Wonderful work & quintessential epitome of professional audio dramatization & production, writing & evoking the right emotion in how this vision is pursued for the Podcast & the respectful and dignified worth that is given to those you cover, who deserve & need your insight & capable expertise, to bring this to the world and show us all just how disgusting OZ is, behind the curtain, pulling the strings, with real peoples lives & spirits.

Enough is Enough - I hope more & more people really take heed in listening & hearing - what the truth is & maybe consider thinking before consuming what you are fed, without asking what the ingredients are & the recipe is in what they are siphoning and the synthesizing to then present a Creme Brulé, that is in fact & truth , made of people's extracted energy & spirit, even using their deaths & tragedy, to exploit further for even more money & required sacrificed Innocence to Ba'al.

You are surely & truly missing out on something amazing,
and truly unique & deeply layered in its depth, quality, substance, foundations and a mesmerizing tandem of two beautiful souls & spirits walking you through this strange and wonderfully terrifying world of infamous "Ethereal Other" ,


There is nothing else out there in podcast land available to you that will meet your query in a more wholly satisfying & beautiful way. Timothy is a quintessentially of unique importance to both history & lore, but he evokes & lives & breathes the world's within worlds & takes us beyond the gates of the unknown, on a journey & adventure, that has no boundaries or held back by agenda or bias. Tim & his wife are a National Treasure, and if anything simply what they have created and shared in this typically very placate & fragile landscape of "paranormal tribes" , is they have opened up a doorway in witch the accessibility is for anyone and everyone who simply holds interest and is at any kevel of engagement with "the Other" or the strange box of ethereal curiosities that is this existence and reality that this realm we all inhabit offers up in many a perplexing , fascinating and sometimes terrifying fashion.
and I love this about them and the fact that all the messy political business and "members only" type of attitude does not exist here, nor is it really tolerated , as it's honestly a totally fallacious way to pursue the unknown by trying to box something in that is unable to be contained, let alone explained

Listen to the Music!
I cannot tell you enough - go buy some albums , the music is entirely written, played, produced, engineered, etc. by Tim
and it is on a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL of talent & quality. It is some of my favorite music and if that isn't enough, the Art is top quality and totally hypnotic & emersive and I highly suggest looking at the available prints and book covers for his Books as well , as this is a one stop shop of the genius proportions , that needs to be celebrated & appreciated ! Just check it out.

& his many guests, co-hosts, co-authors and amazing Wife are plentiful to offer insights or expansion upon said topic(s) , tales, lore or first hand experiences; However, the real recipe for the greatest of midnight brew to be playing in the dark, are the absolutely amazing original, hand crafted songs, and artwork that accompanies everything that Tim completely uses in his arsenal to take everything to a entirely new tier level. from the foreboding, jarring & lovely haunting Folk- Horror/ Folk/ esq. Music, the unending amount of love that goes into this podcast is fully reflected by their continued efforts & ability to talk about the strange & terrifying, to the weird, haunting, thought provoking & even tragic tales and the unknown & mysterious links that exist between everything, somehow & someway. But the focus isn't telling you what to believe or forcing judgment or bias projection upon the audience, Tim tells what "it" like "it" is, or could be or simply the truth from his own set of discoveries and adventures, that has been a part of my podcast favorites for almost a decade now, having started listening to Tim on another Podcast you should also subscribe to, called : "Where Did the Road Go?"

There is no other podcast like "Strange Familiars" , and I highly recommend starting anywhere that you fancy bases upon the title that grabs your attention , and you will not be dissapointed. in fact, you might even be compelled to register & subscribe to access their members shows, or purchase one of Tim's incredible books or albums, maybe some swag & merch, but one thing is for sure, is that this show has been able to get me through some really terrible and difficult times where all I could do was listen to podcasts and totally left physcial non-functional & wholly limited, and the amount of shows on here will keep you busy & entertained, leaving you with theories and ideas, or stories and tales to mystify. The goosebumps and chills are many a flavored & styled , unique and organically home-grown high strangeness, cryptozoology, time slips, shadow beings, the shows very own "entity" /"tulpa"/"thought form" or at minimum "other" that is known as "Flannel Man", or his wife has many episodes where she has researched and looked into some of the oddities of society and persons in history that have left a mark of endearingly Strange or misunderstood tragedies of the outcasts of society that covers many unique subjects and characters.

my favorite shows however are usually the first hand accounts and recap and synopsis of Tim's own "Site7", and many a terrifying & unexplained events that have transpired over the years, or the guests who bravely come on to tell their tales of the weird & strange as well.

There is so much to love & enjoy here, and truly deserves so many subscriptions & fans fir all their hard , independent work that is far better and far more riveting & enjoyable than 90% of anything else that exists or is available in this oversaturated market and little known origins or truths in our world that holds empirical evidence and proof, first hand accounts, both anecdotal & physical, and aspects of the many a strange phenomenon that exists that is happening & is going on all around us, and yet we are either handcuffed by gatekeepers or given disinformation & fallacious arguments by "officials" and/or "professionals" & "experts" in a field that can have none of the above by any means. Tim isn't playing a game of as another disillusioned snake oil salesman, or forcing his thoughts or opinions upon anything but the self evident & experiential aspects of his own interactions and research and what that tells him, without the efo, the bias, the agenda or the desire to pick your pockets clean.

They tell it the way it should be told, with love, interest, inspiration, thrilling, chilling & even riveting ethereal aspects that exist all around us, that has been passed down in the lore and mythologies for centuries, and seems to be not only connected and woven together in fantastic ways, but is both malevolent and benevolent in nature, seemingly sharing a similar duality we are familiar with in our own life and reality, yet their are veils to lift to look passed our own and see what may have the ability to share space in both worlds,

"Be careful what you entertain in the darkness and the whispers you give ear to, for the other is strange, and although you swear it is grandma... the truth remains - it may only be the reflection that is familiar - and now you have to figure out what to do, because you have already given invitation for its presence, and where there was a barrier of protection that covers the thresholds of your space, the agreement for access, may be the last thing you ever regret, for it may be you it seeks to invade - and take over or transport far and away, so in the night's bitterly naive, first fully awake before you agree - and you may yet still live to tell the tale of the Familars so Strange."
