The Boston Underground series is one of my favourite mafia romances. That being said, THIEF was my least favourite of the series. I love Ms. Zavarelli’s narrative but I couldn’t connect with Nikolai or Tanaka. I hated that Nikolai brought other women around in the beginning to taunt Tanaka, and I was not convinced that Nikolai really loved Tanaka. I felt as if he liked the idea of owning and possessing her. I was happy to see quite a lot of Alexei in this book though which made it easier to get through. The story itself wasn’t as dark as the previous books in this series which was disappointing as I have come to love these books for their grittiness.

As always Tracy Marks did a phenomenal job with the Russian accents for both Nikolai and Tanaka.

EPIC!!!!!

6+++++ stars!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!! An incredibly unique and beautiful love story of EPIC proportion!! First, everlasting love, second chances and family... this story had it all! I adored Greyson and Alexis - you could feel their electrifying connection and love from that very first moment on their jetty, and although their lives took them to different cities that kept them apart for a few years, their love still burned and grew, and brought them back together. I loved their determination, commitment and passion to make their second chance at love work.

I loved LA Fiore’s addictive and flawless narrative. As a reader, there is nothing more satisfying than embarking on a journey with characters that grow and complement each other in every facet of their lives. And it wasn’t only the MCs that were amazing, the supporting characters like Paige, Grant, the twins, Greyson’s grandfather and Alexis’s dad that made this story even more special. I loved the relationships that these side characters brought to Greyson and Alexis as individuals and as a couple. I wanted to be part of this tight knitted family too!! This story is unforgettable and will always be a favourite of mine.

Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock did an outstanding job on this audiobook. Their Irish accents for Greyson and his family were spot on! I felt that they both brought so much emotion and life to these amazing characters.

A sweet listen !

I am impartial to second chances and sports romances so BREAKAWAY was right up my alley! Mark and Stevie were very sweet together and I loved watching the way their relationship blossomed.

I listened to the audiobook version, and Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock once again were the perfect duo to narrate this heartfelt story.

5+ dark angel stars!! I can never get enough of these gorgeous men from Ashers and Embers! And Lukas is one of the sweetest, most patient and honourable heroes I have had the pleasure of meeting! I loved how understanding and persistent Lukas is with Ivy. I loved that he was an old soul in the body of a 24 year old rock star, and he knew exactly what he wanted from Ivy. I loved the immediate chemistry between Ivy and Lukas and couldn’t wait for them to get to their HEA! There was some drama thrown in but overall this is a sweet and romantic love story! As usual Carian Cole delivers big time on the feels and I can’t wait for more! This is easily my favourite rock start series!!

WOW!! That opening scene had me giggling like a silly school girl, and hooked me right into this story!! FALLING FOR THE BAD BOY was chock full of sexiness and heat!!!! It was a fast paced read with lots of sexy flirty banter! Ethan’s back story was absolutely heartbreaking and despite his reservations about letting himself fall in love again, I was glad that he addressed his feelings early on and didn’t hold onto the past. As for Vada, she was quirky and hilarious but I did find her excuse for avoiding relationships to be a cop out.

I loved the narrators for this book! CJ Bloom breathed so much sassiness into Vada! And Joe Arden with a southern accent? Enough, said!! Swooonnnn!!!

3.5 Graham Cracker Stars! I have enjoyed the other books in the Element series and this book was OK but I didn’t overly love it. I liked Lucy and her hippie lifestyle and Graham started off as such a jerk, then slowly turned out to be quite a decent guy despite his childhood demons. I can’t exactly pinpoint it but I didn’t connect with either character properly, and the story and plot twists felt contrived and predictable.

JS Scott’s Billionaire series never fails to give me heart flutters and goosebumps! I love the instalove connection that almost always happens in her books! The hero wants the heroine, and he goes and gets her! Caveman galore!!! Tate Colter certainly lives up to Ms. Scott’s ALPHA billionaire hero that I LOVE! He doesn’t waste any time to make Lara Bailey all his and the signature one word declaration of “MINE” seals the deal!!! I really enjoyed the FBI storyline as it was different to previous plotlines used. It was fast paced, sexy and exciting! I wish these books were longer!

5+ BLOOD PIT STARS!!!!!!! Tillie Cole really did save the BEST for last!! RIOT is hands down my favourite of the Scarred Souls series!! It was very dark, very brutal, yet was the PERFECT conclusion with the death of the Master of the Blood Pit! Ms. Cole is truly masterful at drawing out raw emotions through her addictive narrative. Her characters have so much depth and this story was fast paced, action packed and adrenaline pumping!! An unforgettable conclusion and I was very satisfied that all her heroes and heroines finally received their much deserved HEAs!!

Dark and disturbing which is synonymous with Tillie Cole’s Scarred Souls series! I liked this one but not as much as I loved the previous two books. I can’t wait to read the final book!

Never thought that Cletus Winston would ever settle down but he sure met his match in the form of the Banana Cake Queen, Jennifer Sylvester! I love Chris Brinkley and Joy Nash’s narration! They breathe so much life and emotions into these characters!
