Historia
At a Hallowe'en party, Joyce - a hostile thirteen-year-old - boasts that she once witnessed a murder. When no one believes her, she storms off home. But within hours her body is found, still in the house, drowned in an apple-bobbing tub. That night, Hercule Poirot is called in to find the "evil presence". But first he must establish whether he is looking for a murderer or a double murderer.

Only 1 Story Included

The only book is Halloween Party. Narration is v good. Agatha Christie was obviously obsessed with the closing of mental institutions in the 60s. She mentioned it way too many times.

Dislike narrator
Revisado: 06-15-23
Hard G’s and dropped t’s Very disconcerting. The narrator’s pronunciation gets in the way of listening to the story.
Story is a jumble and needs some help to smooth it out. No character depth.

Dull
Revisado: 08-06-21
Maybe it would have been better, but the narration was so flat and uninteresting that I couldn’t make it through the first few hours (and that was a struggle). Narrators can make or break a book.

Perfect cozy mystery

Just like all the Miss Silver mysteries. Long unfolding of tale, Miss Silver enters, those in love end up together. No huge surprises, perfect for knitting to, as one does not have to pay 100% attention.
