I don’t normally leave a review outside of selecting the stars. I’m all for a dark romance novel but so many trigger warnings were needed for this. Domestic abuse, sexual abuse, suicide, etc. if the author cant be bothered to include them in the description i cant be bothered to get into any of their other works. Joel Leslie was stellar as usual though.

This book could have seriously used some trigger warnings. There’s a lot of domestic abuse and I’m not here for it so I couldn’t finish. Author is fantastic though I love all his other work :)

Way too much attention given to garret. Main character is stupid and naive and not in a cute way. I’m a huge fan of Z. A. But no. The ghosts and Ari were the only highlights of the story and Ari deserved so much better. Pass.

I read / listen to a ton of m/m romance particularly paranormal. This one is easily one of the best ones I’ve come across. The story and the narrator are top notch. My only gripe is the rest of the series audiobooks aren’t anywhere !!! Please Jacklyn why you gotta be like that :(
